Chris Nelson’s Kembla Grange Best Bets Posted on August 27, 2021August 27, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.5 Bowery Breeze We’re going to be racing on a soft/heavy surface at Kembla tomorrow and that’s going to suit this mare down to the ground. She’s had one run back off a two-month break closing late here in the same grade she faces tomorrow (Midway) and Kathy O’Hara rides her well having been on board at 2 of her 3 wins to date. Look for the pair of them to be charging home down the outside of the track at the business end of the race. RACE 6 No.6 Remarque Very well fancied in the Rosebud first up however unfortunately for his supporters he was all stitched up with nowhere to go when needing to make his move in the straight, once into the clear he finished on well running solid sectionals to the line. Although he has no wet track race form he has won 3 trials on damp ground and is by one of the better wet track sires we have in Snitzel. I’m sticking with him to make amends. RACE 7 No.10 No Compromise Throwing this one up at odds as he’s a gun on wet ground and amazingly amongst his 17 starts to date he is yet to see a dry surface. Racing very well in restricted grade having won 3 of his past 4 he now takes on Group 3 company which isn’t going to be easy however keep in mind he’s dropping plenty in weight to help ease that burden, his record around this distance range is also good. I’d be surprised if he didn’t at least run into a placing. Quaddie 10, 13, 9, 12 8, 2, 7 11, 14, 6, 4 8, 13 Market Market
