Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on January 15, 2021January 15, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 15th January 2021 Race 2 – No. 2 Nice Image Prominent throughout for 3rd in a tougher line up than this last week when contending with an unsuitable draw. Will appreciate the stripes and gets his chance to break the drought. Race 7 – No. 9 West On True Speedy beginner who has finished no further back than 2nd in three starts over this trip. Has been found out late in his past couple over the longer 520m at Cannington but gets his chance to hang onto one here. Race 8 – No. 7 Torza Not disgraced from an unsuitable draw last week when 4th in slightly tougher company. Has raced well out wide in the past and can bounce back to her best with the right run. Each Way: Race 3 – No. 7 Jaro Bale Consistent chaser who finally broke through for success for the first time in WA when producing a strong mid-race move to race away for a 4 length victory. He was galloped on in the run when finding the top so his time should’ve been a lot quicker. Cannot be under-estimated. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.6 / 2.3.5.7 / 5.6.7.9 / 1.2.7 $50 for 34.72% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 16th January 2021 Race 5 – No. 2 Harper’s Hero Up in distance and class but he has shown his versatility at Mandurah with wins in impressive times over both the 405m and 490m. Ultra-consistent and looks as though he’ll handle the rise in distance. Worth supporting at his Cannington debut. Race 7 – No. 1 Cindy’s Oliver Eye-catching first up effort after a slow getaway to power home at the business for 2nd in easier 4/5 company last week. Loves this draw and the small line up will suit. Will be hard to hold out. Race 10 – No. 6 Indy Orlando Back in form with an all the way 21.87 win from this very draw on Wednesday. This field has more depth but there is no reason why she cannot go back to back with confidence on her side now. Each Way: Race 6 – No. 6 Revved Up Moment Racing in strong form of late over the trip in this company and easier. Has the early pace to cross from the awkward draw and should give plenty of cheek again. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.5.6.7 / 1.6.8 / 1.6 / 3.6 $50 for 104.16% Trifecta – Race 4 4 / 1.8 / 1.3.6.8 $6 for 100% First Four – Race 3 3.5.6 / 3.5.6 / 2.3.5.6 / 2.3.4.5.6 Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Sunday, 17th January 2021 Race 4 – No. 8 Geared Up Has found the going tough at headquarters with just 1 win from 15 attempts. Has found his groove of late over varying distances at Mandurah and has been given another chance to show what he’s capable of back in town. Tough to beat. Race 6 – No. 2 Beretta Racing below his best recently but has had some excuses and is worth giving one more chance from the improved draw. Race 8 – No. 4 Stories Jumping with purpose of the 405m at Mandurah where she’s missed the place just once in her 9 starts so far. Looks suited the this trip and will take catching with another swift exit from the boxes. Bet Now! Bet Now!
