Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on January 7, 2021January 7, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.4 Zing Champion trainer Chris Waller has two very good chances in the race being this Zoustar mare and the filly Fifteen Aria who was impressive winning her only start. I’m leaning to the former who did a great job up on the speed last time out beating all bar the strong finishing Bowery Breeze in a race which was run at a hectic tempo up front, a tempo she wasn’t far off in the run. Hard to beat! RACE 8 No.6 Sacramento Although staying at 1800m second up he still looks a good each-way proposition tomorrow. There’s no doubt he’s an out and out stayer having won the St. Leger over 2800m last prep however he likes to roll forward in his races and tomorrow’s race doesn’t look to contain much in the way of early tempo. Rolling along in or near the front he could prove tough to get by in the straight. RACE 9 No.10 More Prophets Very consistent mare who is generally strong to the line. Although not far away second up she wasn’t as powerful late as she can be, keep in mind though she was rising 300m and having her first run for over 3 weeks suggesting the her effort to be beaten less than a length was a good one. Fitter, she looks ready to win tomorrow stepping up only 100m this time around. Quaddie 2, 4, 5, 7 1, 2, 6, 8, 11 3, 5, 6 10, 12 Market Market
