Race 4 – No. 8  Back Net

Mixing form but he has run some slick times over the journey and has saluted in his only from this draw in the past. Capable of making a race of it.

Race 5 – No. 2  Torza

Out of form but a long way down in grade and drawn to put on a big show. With her best at box rise, she can turn her supporters frowns upside down.

Race 10 – No. 8  Withers Monelli

No luck when resuming over 405m last start so best to forget he went around. Better suited over this trip and has gone 27.50 from this draw here in the past. Tough to beat this time.

Each Way:

Race 9 – No. 3  Rusty Boom Gate

An all the way Maiden winner from this draw in modest time and has mixed form since. If he does find the top again though, he should give plenty a cheek and may pinch the win if his main rivals find bother.

Race 3 – No. 4  Driftin’ Away

Squeezed out of contention early last start and only managed to finish 5th when well supported. Down half a grade and will be fitter for two runs in WA. Can show them what he is capable of in this.

Race 7 – No. 5  Steve Monelli

The class runner who was game in defeat behind kennelmate Sunset Spitfire last week, posting a solid 29.86. Drawn awkwardly but with his best jump, he should land on the speed and go mighty close again.

Race 8 – No. 4  Indy Orlando

Yet to finish further back than 2nd in 6 runs over the trip, mostly against tougher opposition than she meets in this. Should find the front and prove hard to run down this time around.

Each Way:

Race 5 – No. 8  Jackson County

Rarely runs a bad race, having finished no further back than 4th since arriving in WA. Can handle a wide draw and will be doing his best work late. Cannot be underestimated.

Race 2 – No. 6   Rippin’ Purton

Still searching for that elusive 405m win, placing in all 4 tries so far for minor placings. Today looks his chance to finally break through.

Race 7 – No. 2  We The People

Versatile chaser resuming from a break. While she may need the run, she did place in her only outing over the journey and has her favourite rug. Can surprise.

Race 8 – No. 3  Westdale Ares

A last start 490m winner but some of her best work has been over this trip, finishing on the podium in 20 of 30 tries at 405m. Can run time and should prove hard to hold out at the finish.
