Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets

RACE 5 No.12 Lady Banff

Nice type of filly from the Matt Dunn yard resuming from a break. A veteran of only 7 starts she a winner on 3 occasions with two of those coming when first up/debuting. She’s trialled well enough to win, draws a good alley and the booking of James MacDonald is a definite plus. With market support should prove tough to beat.

RACE 6 No.10 Bonvicini

Maher/Eustace trained mare who is making the trip north after a good run of form during the Melbourne spring. She takes on the males tomorrow dropping back from Group to Listed company in what does appear a very winnable race. Perfect gate, no weight and the right jockey on board suggests there’s plenty of ticks for her.

RACE 9 No.3 New Arrangement

Chris Waller trained galloper who was an acceptor for both here and Doomben however connections made the choice to go around here which shouldn’t be taken lightly as he looked a great winning chance up north. His first up effort in a solid Class 6 was a strong closing one and expect him to take plenty of benefit from it. Great each-way chance.
