Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on August 27, 2020August 27, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 MISS EERIE (1) led when a narrow 2nd in a similar field two starts back before running 3rd to BLOCKJORG (9) at her last start. She is drawn to lead here and should give a great sight. BLOCKJORG (9) is the class filly of the field and was a good winner in a similar event at her last start but has a wide draw to overcome. RED HOT LADY (5) was a good winner at Pinjarra on Monday in moderate time and should play a part tonight. ROCKIN THE TREND (10) ran on well when 2nd here last week and is drawn to get a nice run on the pegs. Tips: 1 9 5 10 Suggested Bet: MISS EERIE (1) to win. Race 2 ART TUTOR (3) has been placed in five of his last seven starts and has had to work hard in most of those efforts. He looks a good chance to find the top here and will be hard to catch in that role. BOOM TIME (12) ran a slashing 2nd to Patronus Star last start and will be charging home. BLISSFULABBEY (11) was ultra-impressive in winning at Pinjarra on Monday and can play a part here. BETTOR FINISH (1) has been unplaced at both starts this time in but looks a big improver from the pole. Tips: 3 12 11 1 Suggested Bet: ART TUTOR (3) to win. Race 3 ROBBIE EASTON (1) has a losing sequence of eight starts and has been a beaten favourite on five of those runs but this looks his race. He should lead from the pole and can bounce back into the winners’ circle. CARTER MICHEAL (2) is drawn to get a lovely run in transit and looks the main danger. BAYLAN JETT (4) fought on well to finish 2nd here after racing in the breeze last week and looks likely to take up the same position tonight. MISTER BUSHIDO (7) was beaten in a four-way photo finish here last week but is drawn poorly. Tips: 1 2 4 7 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE EASTON (1) to win. Race 4 CONVERT DENARIO (2) led and was narrowly run down by BLETCHLEY PARK (9) here last week. He isn’t as well suited by the staying journey but will still give a great sight. BLETCHLEY PARK (9) sizzled home to win here last week and looks the obvious danger despite the wide draw. MOTU PREMIER (3) and IDEAL LINER (5) couldn’t make up the required ground when they sprinted home in that event but are drawn much better tonight and both can play a part. Tips: 2 9 3 5 Suggested Bet: CONVERT DENARIO (2) to win. Race 5 QUEEN SHENANDOAH (1) led throughout from this draw in 1.56.6 here two starts back. She should be able to hold up again tonight and will be hard to catch. MANDY JOAN (2) won three in a row in mares’ company before taking on the boys last week and will appreciate the drop back in class. HAS NO FEAR (10) has won two of her last three starts, both back from the back row, and is drawn to get a lovely run in transit. TYPHOON TIFF (6) had a tough run at her first start back from a spell and will strip fitter tonight. Tips: 1 2 10 6 Suggested Bet: QUEEN SHENANDOAH (1) to win. Race 6 BRAEVIEW BONDI (3) raced in stronger company last time in and couldn’t make up ground in a quick last half at his first start back from a spell. This is a big drop in class and he should prove hard to beat. QTOWN RIP ROARING (1) is racing consistently and gets his chance from the pole tonight. TUAS DELIGHT (5) hasn’t had much luck recently and can be driven aggressively in this company. CLARENDEN HUSTLER (2) has been held up at his last two starts and is drawn to be prominent throughout. Tips: 3 1 5 2 Suggested Bet: BRAEVIEW BONDI (3) to win. Race 7 MADAME MEILLAND (1) led throughout here two starts back and then wasn’t far away last week. She may be crossed here but will enjoy a nice trip and should be dangerous if she sees daylight. THEREUGO (3) has the speed to cross and is suited in this company. BETTOR PARTY (4) is racing well in stands and should his make his presence felt from this draw. JIMMY MACK (6) looked sharp when leading throughout at his last start but won’t find it as easy tonight from this draw. Tips: 1 3 4 6 Suggested Bet: MADAME MEILLAND (1) each way. Race 8 J B MAUNEY (4) was a good winner two starts back before being pulled out of the race due to a flat tyre. He is a reliable standing start performer and looks the one to beat. BETTORGRINANBARIT (3) ran a nice 3rd in a stand on Monday and is the best drawn of the main chances. IM ROCKNROLL MAGIC (9) ran on well to finish 2nd in that event and must be considered. KIWI BLOKE (5) led throughout first-up and attempted to repeat the dose but found Wildwest too good last start and will give a sight if he finds the front. Tips: 4 3 9 5 Suggested Bet: BETTORGRINANBARIT (3) each way. Race 9 LORD ROSCO (2) has used his blistering gate speed to win his last five on end. He should. find the front again here and looks very hard to catch over the sprint trip. CAPTAIN KIRK (6) overcame a wide draw to be placed here last week and should be thereabouts again. GEE JAY KAY (8) started from the same draw when a strong 3rd to Galactic Star here last week and can be placed again. SAMMY IDEAL (1) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but is drawn to be a good place chance. Tips: 2 6 8 1 Suggested Bet: LORD ROSCO (2) to win. Race 10 IDEAL INVESTMENT (1) led throughout from this draw back in April and hasn’t been able to finds the front since. His recent form has been sound and he looks a big improver from the pole. EXTREME PRINCE (3) has finished in the second half of the field at his last seven starts but drops in class tonight and is drawn nicely. SALEAHS COMMAND (4) showed some dash here last week and will give a great sight if he can cross at the start. MATTJESTIC STAR (2) has been disappointing but is drawn to get a nice trip. Tips: 1 3 4 2 Suggested Bet: IDEAL INVESTMENT (1) to win. Market Market
