Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on May 8, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 8th May 2020 Race 1 – No. 1 Turbo Fun Resumed in fine style over 380m last start when leading all the way in quick time. Has only missed the place once over this trip. Drawn ideally and should be able to make it a hat trick. Race 3 – No. 3 Son Of Jamaica Times over the trip have been solid and he is fresh of the back of an all the way win in 22.84 last Friday. Has the draw to replicate that effort and graduate to graded company. Race 10 – No. 2 Buck Monelli Hasn’t won since early February but he does have his best draw for a while and hasn’t been too far away against tougher opposition and should go mighty close to winning this. Each Way: Race 6 – No. 6 Kung Fu Fun In and around the placings in 6 of his past 7, with the majority in stronger company. Loves a wide draw and should give plenty of cheek again. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.4.5 / 1.2.6 / 3.8 / 2.3.4.7 $50 for 52.08% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 9th May 2020 Race 2 – No. 1 West On Magada Should have plenty of room to balance up early if she steps away cleanly with a couple of rivals who have been known to crash right shortly after box rise. Hard to beat of she avoids trouble. Race 3 – No. 4 Sir Monty Back to his best with a near PB victory last week and accounting for a few handy types in the process. Up in class but he is an exciting chaser who should prove too talented again. Race 10 – No. 2 Chimera Monelli Game in defeat when racing prominently throughout for 2nd in a smart 29.77 from the draw last week. This no tougher and he can go one better. Each Way: Race 1 – No. 3 Heaps Of Kuna Has shown early toe down at Mandurah with back to back all the way wins earlier in the year. A win would not surprise in his 380m debut. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.3.5 / 2.4 / 1.3.8 / 3.8 $50 for 138.88% Trifecta – Race 2 1.5.6.8 / 1.5.6.8 / 1.3.5.6.8 $30 for 83.33% First Four – Race 10 2 / 8 / 1.4.5.7 / 1.4.5.7 $50 for 416.66% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Sunday, 10th May 2020 Race 2 – No. 2 Sandave Rebel Has been racing without much luck since back to back 405m Mandurah wins in February. Resumes from a spell and will take catching from the draw. Race 3 – No. 1 Chief Of Staff Placed in all three runs over the journey even after finding stacks of trouble in two of those outings. Drawn sweetly and with an ounce of luck, he can break through for the first time over 380m. Race 5 – No. 3 Brankstone’s Boy Racing without much luck in tougher line ups than this. Capable of flying the lids and can run time as well. A return to form looks likely here. Each Way: Race 6 – No. 3 Huey Blue Racing in good form over shorter but he is back up to his pet distance and looks set to give this a real shake. Bet Now! Bet Now!
