Should be hard to beat but could also be pretty short. WAR CLASS was a replay watchers kind of horse last start. Only got busy the last 50m and looked good. HORAAN went well fresh at Esperance. FLYING TRIX is another fresh and has shown ability. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – READ THE RIOT ACT WIN Race 2 ORASKY has had 9 cracks at it but has kept improving since joining Roy Rogers and her most recent from a long way off them was impressive. Again drawn to get back but should hit the line. MERIT DREAM is a new acquisition to the region but if she was to reproduce her run of two starts ago is hard to beat. BIG SUMMER can lead or box seat. TEXAN BLITZ has been disappointing last couple after promising a fair bit. Numbers: 7 – 9 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – ORASKY WIN Race 3 GO CRYING is likely to be nearly odds on when markets open but this is an easier assignment to what he won first-up. Won a Class 3 at Bunbury and drops back into a Class 2 at Albany. Should prove too classy. CLASSIC JACK from leader’s back is the logical danger. YOU AM I has only won the one race in his life but should have no excuse with W.Pike in the saddle. TIPS AND SCANDALS was unlucky to run into the in-form Wild Fusion when she last came to Albany. More than capable on her day. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – GO CRYING WIN Race 4 MY GIRL CHILLY is always well supported in her races. Has only won once from 27 outings but if the leaders are getting away from them then this is her best chance of recent times. Randy Tan likes to let them run and she is a high cruising speed mare. BENTLEY’S BROTHER has produced three equally as impressive runs this campaign and is the big danger. MYARENA showed something last start. SEALED WITH A KISS is better than he is showing. Numbers: 7 – 2 – 9 – 4 Suggested Bet – MY GIRL CHILLY WIN Race 5 MONGOLIAN WARLORD is yet to show much this preparation but from the gate should be given every chance and finally gets out to a suitable trip for him. Should sit midfield with cover and can run them down. CHASING CHAOS has not won for over 500 days but his last three have been excellent. MULGA suffered cardiac arrhythmia ‘first-up’ and has since trialed well. ROWIE is a veteran who looks almost ready to win another race. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – MONGOLIAN WARLORD WIN Race 6 FRIARANDICE has not won past 1400m and is the kind of mare who really does need things to go her way in races but with Pike aboard she won’t get a better chance to win a $35k feature. Recent form definitely strong enough. PRIX D’EXCELLENCE comes from a stable who know how to train a mare to win the Bracelet. Elite Flight and now Prix D’Mare. Earl O’Loughlin can win another one. BLACK FREDA was beaten fair and square first-up but improves with shades and trip. CHHAYA could be dangerous late from three back the fence. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – FRIARANDICE WIN Race 7 MINUS LOOKS has been out of the winner’s enclosure for 589 days but three runs this preparation have produced two runner up performances in 72+ grade. In a race with an abundance of speed can position up from the gate and gets a great chance here. NEUROLOGICAL is the winner of four of his last five and draws a gate to sit midfield with cover. POTENT SECRET may be ‘forgotten’ and has been running well and finally drops weight. VIKING FORREST reunites with Jason Whiting and is the blow out in the field. Numbers: 7 – 8 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – MINUS LOOKS WIN Race 8 CAPTIVATED POINT is known as a leader but this race contains at least three or four horses who are quicker than him. High speed race, should sit behind them and get out late. WAR JEUNE is the class runner of the field but with 61kg will need to be big. TRANQUILLA SUNRISE is going very well. Only 1100m probably not in his favour however. TWISTED MOUNTAIN could end up three or even four back the fence with such speed engaged.
