Racetrack Ralphy’s Flemington Best Bets Posted on June 22, 2018June 22, 2018 | Posted by TABtouch Best Bets Race 2 MILES OF KRISHNAN save CREATIVITY Beware the unlucky runner! And that’s what the favourite CREATIVITY certainly was at Moonee Valley last start jammed against the fence and not getting clear until it was all over. However MILES OF KRISHNAN returned with a super first up run this track/distance a fortnight ago, and that said she’s in for a super prep. Importantly she showed excellent early speed, and that says she should greatly elevate 2nd up. If she does in a race with a long tail she’ll be very hard to run down. She appears the better value so I’ll be with her and save on CREATIVITY who does have a good level of talent and obviously deserves respect. Race 4 KNOWABLE each way He hasn’t won since January 2017 – and that was a super time win this track/distance over WIDGEE TURF – but all indications are that he’s set to peak tomorrow 4th up and as such represents terrific each way value. Comes off the blistering time race won by OZI CHOICE a fortnight back and drops to basic ratings company here. Prior to that 19/05 up the straight worked through his gears well with the 3rd best last 800 and 600 of the day. Williams on and a good barrier should get every chance. Race 9 YOU’VE BEEN HAD 2 x 3 Tries beyond a 1000 for the first time, 4th up for the first time and up the straight for the first time, but he has super closing speed and Ollie going on which should be a recipe to be in the finish if not – hopefully – getting the main prize. Melham chose to – understandably – totally concede from the wide alley early at Moonee Valley, and despite the best last 800, 600 and 40 of the day could only run 2nd to BALANCING ACT who had the perfect run. Prior to that won at Cranbourne with the best last 800, 600 and 400 of the night and significantly it was on wet ground if predicted rain hits. Keep the place on side is the recommendation.
