Scott’s Saturday Belmont Preview Posted on September 29, 2017September 29, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 KISS THE BREEZE trialed like a professional over the 400m. She looks pretty talented from that small glimpse. WAKAN TANKA is drawn to jump and lead. Finding the rail is worth lengths to these youngsters. AMAZED was solid in her trials. FINGERMARK did a ton of work in his 850 trial. Numbers: 9 – 4 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – KISS THE BREEZE WIN Race 2 MYBAK showed enough ability in his previous campaign to suggest he could run a race first-up. The trial was sound and he is drawn well enough. SOVEREIGN TRADE should have no excuses from the gun alley and is consistent. ANOTHER STORY was eye catching first-up but is again drawn awkwardly. VITAL SILVER trialed well but a fair while ago. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 12 – 8 Suggested Bet – MYBAK EACHWAY Race 3 GET THE VIBE has been going back in her races this preparation because of awkward gates. From the perfect draw she settles closer and can definitely win. LUCY MAE is the class runner of the field. Her juvenile feature wins were excellent and she is drawn a soft gate. DYNAMITE DREAM dug deep to get the job done last start. OCEAN JEWEL next best. Numbers: 9 – 1- 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – GET THE VIBE EACHWAY Race 4 PINZU has been flying all preparation. Even his poor run on paper was excellent when broken down into sectionals. This is no tougher than his most recent and should go close to winning again. FLYING ROAR improves lengths when allowed to roll. BONNY BE GOOD should get every chance from the inside. WAR GOD is consistent. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 9 – 4 Suggested Bet – PINZU WIN Race 5 SONNEN has been caught no better than three deep all preparation. Draws barrier 1 and the senior rider going on, ticks a lot of boxes. WAR KSAR was getting home very well last start in a similar race. WITNESS IN COURT does tend to throw in a shocker every now and then. SPECIAL DELIVERY is a query at the trip but comes from stronger races. Numbers: 8 – 6 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – SONNEN WIN SuperPick - Race 5 No. 8 SONNEN - Win Boost Race 6 TAKE IT LIKE A MAN is racing ultra consistently. This race is no tougher than he has been competing in and gets a good chance to notch another victory. FREEDOM BY CHOICE is first-up at a mile but his trials have been very good. ATHLETE takes on the older horses. Questionmarks over the types he has beaten home but hard to fault winning form. FIRST AFFAIR needs the sun to stay out. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – TAKE IT LIKE A MAN WIN Race 7 CONSEATED has a good fresh record and is drawn to stalk the speed. She is a strong on-pacer who could get first crack at the leaders. FLOYD was all the rage last start and bolted in over 1000. Interesting to see how he goes over further. DUTCH SPY should get a lovely run midfield. WAR JEUNE trialed well for his return. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 7 – 5 Suggested Bet – CONSEATED EACHWAY Race 8 CASH ON CALL might be a fresh only proposition. Clearly has issues but also a fair deal of ability when right. REVEILLE is an up and coming mare who looks like she will feature prominently in the mares series over summer. DANEFIN could get under the radar. This is his easiest assignment in months. MRS BROWNS BOY makes his own luck out in front. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – CASH ON CALL WIN Quaddie (Races 5 – 8) 2,3,6,8 4,6,7 3,5,6,7 1,5,6 [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2017-09-30/pr” linkrel=””]
