Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on May 12, 2017May 19, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 12th May 2017 Race 1 – No. 6 Regatta Rebel SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Has shown plenty of early toe from the boxes at Cannington before finding bother in tougher city company. On debut at Mandurah but will find this a whole lot easier and should break her maiden status with clearer running tonight. Race 4 – No. 6 Fire Blaze Returned to his best last week when leading throughout in a new PB of 22.53 from this very draw. Up in grade but looks hard to beat if he can replicate that effort. Race 8 – No. 8 Juno Away Erupted from this very box last week to put a healthy space on her rivals early when posting a blistering first sectional split of 6.51. She managed to hold on comfortably at the finish in 22.73 and while up in grade as well, she is getting quicker with each run in WA and should be able to hang on at the finish. She’s only missed the placing’s once here at headquarters and is capable of making amends. Race 5 – No. 1 Neil Monelli Brilliant finisher who’ll appreciate a couple of slow beginners drawn to his outside. He’s only missed the placings once in 12 starts over the journey and if he is within striking distance down the back, most of these will have to post a new PB to keep him at bay. Race 8 – No. 8 Allen Boydy SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd Willing to forgive his run on debut over the trip last week when finding plenty of bother at a critical stage from the opposite side of the draw. Gets room to move out here and will be hard to hold out with better luck in running. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 5, 7, 8 / 3, 7, 8 / 2, 4, 8 / 2, 5, 8. $50 for 46.29% TRIFECTA – Race 3 2, 6, 7, 8 All Ways. $30 for 125% FIRST FOUR – Race 5 1, 5 , 7, 8 / 1, 5, 7, 8 / 1, 5, 7, 8 / 1, 4, 5 6, 7, 8. $50 for 69.44% [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now!” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2017-05-13/pd” linkrel=””]
