Race 1

GALILAEUS will strip fitter for a solid return and should be suited stepping up to this trip. LODBROK chased ok last week and has always given the impression he will be suited to these marathon trips. GLENS TOP CAT back up from the same race and can give a sight. ROARING ENGINE has plenty of weight and a wide draw but has the class to win.

Race 2

NEVERENOUGHLEGO chased a smart one on debut and looks suited stepping up to 1200m. TASVO has trialled well with blinkers on and wears the for his debut. NIGHT FLASH will be better for a solid debut and that form is likely to prove strong.  REGOR is one of a few others to jump out well for their respective debuts.

Race 3

GEORGIE GET MAD has run well at both runs this prep and looks well placed stepping up to 1500m. IMPENDING SHADOW is fit, racing well stays down in the weights. BOLTSAVER can’t be improving but continues to run well deep into his campaign. BELTHIL comes through a strong race at Ballarat and gets a valuable claim.

Race 4

JUST FOR SHOW is building a handy record and looks hard to beat again after ticking the 1400m box last start. ACTA NO VERBA has been freshened and his run behind Treasurethe Moment two stars back reads well. PRINCESS QUE impressed beat subsequent winner Sweethearted last time and has upside.  STORMBOURG was no match for Sweethearted last week but gives the impression this trip will suit.

Race 5

MYTEMPTATION looks progressive and displayed some great race craft to take the run between runners to score last time. INTREPID EAGLE is racing in good form, he’s a winner here and keeps the claim with Jayah Kennedy from his last start victory. THEYCALLMEBRUCE found trouble late last time and maps for a good run. THAILESS got the right run to score last time but maps for another soft run. RED PHANTOM may be looking for further but has been jumping out well.

Suggested Bet: Mytemptation to win

Race 6

There should be an abundance of speed here. SOJU will strip fitter for a solid retune and should be suited by the strong tempo. MOON AND BACK will also be suited by a strong speed and gets around the is track well. TAKEKO has upside and Mytemptation will have provided a guide on her latest run in the previous race. FICKLE will be part of the speed and can give a sight. MISS COTOLETTA has jumped out well to resume.

Race 7

BRITISH COLUMBIA will strip fitter third up and looks well treated after the claim. PRINCE ERIC didn’t have the best of luck at a crucial stage last start and looks a strong danger. BON MISTRESS appreciated the drop in grade last time and maps for a good run. FARHH FLUNG comes through the same race as Prince Eric and has a case.

Race 8

ZAMBEZI KHAN has the versatility to take advantage of a low draw and looks well placed stepping up to this trip third up. MANNERHEIM brings some sild NSW form and has B.Shinn to help offset the wide draw. RETOURNE is another suited stepping up to this trip third up. HOWLIN’ RAIN and CHIMED are both fit, in-form gallopers that have claims.

Race 9

BOLD SOUL comes though a high pressure race second up at Ballarat and should be approaching peak fitness. FIRST IMMORTAL also hits this race third up and is suited by the rise in trip and the drop in grade. AIN’TNODEELDUN drops in grade from the Ballarat Cup and should be fitter for the run in this distance range. PROMISES KEPT absorbed plenty of pressure last start and should get a more economical run on the speed here.

Suggested Bet: Bold Soul each way

Race 10

Interesting race with a few queries over a number of runners at 1200m. DON’T HOPE DO led and dictated at Ballarat, there appears to be more pressure here and has displayed tactical versatility. APACHE SONG has been well placed to record consecutive wins here and is right in the game again. FLYING MIKKI is going well for the new stable and the likely solid tempo may help offset the wide draw. GENERAL FIREPOWER has jumped out well to resume. MAJOR SHARE is untested beyond 1100m but is building a good record and won well here last time after covering ground.
