Race 1

DRACARYS (7) is a classy mare who produced her best when beating her own sex in quick time at her last start. This represents a drop in class and she is capable of overcoming the wide draw. BOB WHEEL (1) has been unplaced at his past five starts but will give them something to catch if he can boot through to hold up at the start. FAKE NEWS (6) won two on end before running a solid 2nd to Our Alfie Rome and should play a part. JAMES BUTT (8) was a strong 2nd at his return but has a tough draw to overcome.

Suggested Bet: BOB WHEEL (1) each way.

Race 2

OCEAN RIDGE (1) led throughout to record consecutive victories in November and hasn’t had much luck since. He draws to lead tonight and looks the one to beat. ICEENOTHINK (8) is absolutely flying and will be charging home again. CROCODILE KID (3) should enjoy a nice run just behind the speed and should be in the finish. ATHABASCAN (2) has his best draw in quite some time and should be a big improver.

Suggested Bet: OCEAN RIDGE (1) to win.

Race 3

THE DALI EXPRESS (1) was a 1.53.3 winner over this distance three starts back and will be extremely hard to catch if he can hold out the fast beginners in this field. MIGHTY SANTANA (8) has been racing well against stronger fields but has a wide draw to overcome. BRAEVIEW BONDI (2) was a comfortable all-the-way winner here last week and the rise in class is offset by his lovely draw. MON LILLIES (5) has led throughout to win her last two starts and will give plenty of cheek if she can cross at the start.

Suggested Bet: THE DALI EXPRESS (1) to win.

Race 4

CULPEKA (4) has impressed in winning his last three starts, including a 1.55.2 victory here last month. He looks a class above his rivals and should make it four on the trot. VALBONNE (12) was a strong 3rd here last week but has again drawn poorly. WHOSWHOINTHEZOO (11) is extremely consistent and won’t be far away again. FREE TO AIR (1) finished 2nd here after trailing the leader last week and is likely to enjoy a similar trip tonight.

Tips: 4 12 11 1

Suggested Bet: CULPEKA (4) to win.

Race 5

TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (1) led throughout in a blistering 1.53.7 over this trip two starts back before being held up for a run. He looks the leader tonight and will be very hard to catch. IM FULL OF EXCUSES (2) has returned from a spell with a great win and solid 3rd after starting from a wide draw and looks a major player. GOLDEN STATE (10) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be dangerous. IDEAL LINER (6) is probably the best horse in the field but will have to work hard at some stage from this draw.

Suggested Bet: GOLDEN STATE (10) each way.

Race 6

GALACTIC STAR (10) was travelling well here last week but clipped a wheel and finished at the tail. He is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and will be charging home if he sees daylight at the right time. MIGHTY CONQUEROR (5) missed the Fremantle Cup but is arguably the best horse in the field and will be a major player if he brings his A game. OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (1) is racing as well as ever and has options from the pole. VAMPIRO (9) led and was narrowly beaten in track record time in the Fremantle Cup and will give a great sight if he can cross again.

Tips: 10 5 1 9

Suggested Bet: GALACTIC STAR (10) each way.

Race 7

AMERICAN TOUR (3) led throughout here four starts back and has battled bad barriers at her subsequent runs. She looks a good chance to find the top and will be hard to catch in that role. DANCING WITH MACH (11) has won two of her last three starts in easier company and has a nice trailing draw. THEJEWELINHEREYE (1) finished 3rd to DANCING WITH MACH (11) at her last start but has the advantage of the pole tonight. OUR AMAZING GRACE (2) hasn’t been far away of late and can be placed at odds.

Tips: 3 11 1 2

Suggested Bet: AMERICAN TOUR (3) to win.

Race 8

JIMMY MACK (12) was a comfortable winner over a similar field before performing well in a fast class event. He is suited back to the stand and is clearly the one to beat. ONEONTHEWOOD (7) was placed for the 9th time in his last 11 starts at Pinjarra on Monday and should be thereabouts again. BETTOR PACK IT (3) has won three on end at Albany in easier company but his times suggest he could give some cheek if he finds the front. JILLIBY JAKE (2) is a strong front-runner if he can step cleanly.

Tips: 12 7 3 2

Suggested Bet: JIMMY MACK (12) to win.

Race 9

TYLER BRETT (2) led when a solid 3rd in slick time three starts back and his subsequent efforts have had merit. He looks a good chance to find the top and will be hard to catch in that role. JOE WITH THE FLOW (3) has impressed in winning consecutive events in contrasting style and looks a major player from this draw. DONTSTOPBELIEVIN (6) was enormous here last week and will be thereabouts if she can reproduce that effort. MAJOR SPOILT (1) led throughout here two starts back but may take a sit in this company.

Tips: 2 3 6 1

Suggested Bet: TYLER BRETT (2) to win.

Race 10

AS HAPPY AS LARRY (4) looked back to his best last week when finding the front and being narrowly run down in slick time. He looks likely to find the top again and is the one to beat. THEO AVIATOR (5) raced well in the 4YO series before being a brave 5th here after facing the breeze in stronger company last week. He is drawn awkwardly but is the obvious danger. BROOKIES JET (1) and YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH (10) are both limited but have the draws to earn some money for connections.

Tips: 4 5 1 10

Suggested Bet: AS HAPPY AS LARRY (4) to win.

Race 11

PIERRE WHITBY (5) ran on strongly to finish 3rd here last week in a slick 1.55.2 for the 2130. They won’t go anywhere near as quick in this event and he will be hard to hold out with the right run. OUR RHYTHM N BLUES (7) can be given one more chance but he is developing into a non-winner. MACHLANI (4) ran a nice 3rd behind two smart types on Monday and is the best drawn of the main chances. NITRO LAD (1) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be placed.

Tips: 5 7 4 1

Suggested Bet: PIERRE WHITBY (5) to win.
