He meets some smart ones tonight but has a significant barrier advantage over his main rivals and appeals as the one to beat. MARKHAM EYRE (11) has been racing well in stronger fields and should be thereabouts. ORLANDO BLUE (12) didn’t have much luck first-up and should play a part. ROBBIE ROCKET (10) is nicely drawn for his racing style and will be charging home if he sees daylight. Tips: 2 11 12 10 Suggested Bet: ROKORICO (2) to win. Race 2 HEEZ OUR PERSEUS (2) has battled bad barriers at his last two starts and has been unable to make up ground on Lavra Joe in quick last halves. He looks a good chance to find the front here and will be hard to beat in that role. SHADOW ROLL (3) has been placed at his last three starts and looks the obvious danger from his nice draw. POCKET THE CASH (10) has been placed in all four starts this time in and will be charging home if he sees daylight at the right time. RUPERT OF LINCOLN (8) hasn’t had much luck but is drawn poorly again. Tips: 2 3 10 8 Suggested Bet: HEEZ OUR PERSEUS (2) to win. Race 3 BEAT CITY (2) was a strong winner from the breeze before chasing home Lavra Joe last week and looks the one to beat from this draw. TYPHOON BANNER (9) won three on end before finishing 2nd to Lavra Joe at his last start and has the class to overcome the wide draw. AL GUERRERO (7) ran 2nd to The Good Life at his first start back from a spell and will give a great sight if he can use his gate speed to cross at the start. BRACKEN SKY (1) led throughout here three starts back and has options at the start. Tips: 2 9 7 1 Suggested Bet: TYPHOON BANNER (9) each way. Race 4 ARMA EINSTEIN (1) led throughout here four starts back and his subsequent efforts have been full of merit. He has the advantage of the pole draw and appeals as the one to beat. MOONLIGHT DRIVE (6) was a good winner over Stamford before dead heating with Sugar Street and will make his presence felt. BLITZEMBYE (8) is racing well but is drawn poorly and will need some luck to challenge the polemarker. DOMINUS FACTUM (7) has led throughout to win two of his last three runs and may try to cross at the start. Tips: 1 6 8 7 Suggested Bet: ARMA EINSTEIN (1) to win. Race 5 MAGNIFICENT STORM (6) has been forced to face the breeze in all three starts this time in for two wins and a close-up 3rd and will be hard to beat again. CHICAGO BULL (3) has been placed in his three starts back from a spell but is drawn inside his main rivals tonight and should give a great sight. HANDSANDWHEELS (4) resumes here after a two-year injury-enforced absence but has trialled nicely for his return and shouldn’t be far away. JUMPINGJACKMAC (7) defeated a similar field here last week but will find it harder from out here. Tips: 6 3 4 7 Suggested Bet: MAGNIFICENT STORM (6) to win. Race 6 MASTER YOSSI (12) has won all five starts since crossing the Tasman and has reeled off some nice sectionals in the process. He resumes here without a trial but is adept at the stand and should prove hard to beat. JOEY JAMES (1) won a similar event here two starts back and looks the obvious danger. WITHOUTTHETUH (9) disappointed last time in but has plenty of ability and has trialled nicely for his return. AMERICAN BULLITT (3) has been unplaced at his last five starts but is always dangerous with the right run. Tips: 12 1 9 3 Suggested Bet: JOEY JAMES (1) each way. Race 7 ANGEL IN WHITE (1) was a strong winner here three starts back and looks the one to beat from the pole even though she doesn’t have the class of a couple of her rivals. BALCATHERINE (7) is the class runner of the field but is first-up without a trial and has a tough draw to overcome. SAVVY BROMAC (3) is always dangerous with the right run and looks the other winning chance. FIFTY FIVE REBORN (6) is capable on her night but is better suited when she can race on the speed. Tips: 1 7 3 6 Suggested Bet: ANGEL IN WHITE (1) to win. Race 8 LOUIE THE LIP (2) has won three on end in easier company and the rise in class tonight is offset by the nice draw. EUPHORIA (4) hasn’t won in 13 starts this time in but he has been taking on better fields from wide draws and looks an improver tonight. NAVAL AVIATOR (1) is having his first start for a new stable and looks a major player from the pole. ONE FOR DAVE ANDME (3) has been unplaced in all eight starts this time in but shouldn’t be far away tonight. Tips: 2 4 1 3 Suggested Bet: LOUIE THE LIP (2) to win. Race 9 WONDERFUL TO FLY (4) has won 18 of her 28 career starts including her last six on end and will be extremely hard to beat again. DONTBESILLYCHILLI (1) is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs and looks a great place chance. ACHARNE GIRL (3) chased hard when an 11m 2nd to WONDERFUL TO FLY (5) and should be in the money again. EXTRAORDINARY MARY (2) is first-up after a year’s absence but did start favourite against WONDERFUL TO FLY (4) at her last start so monitor the betting. Tips: 4 1 3 2 Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (5) to win. Race 10 CROWD CONTROL (4) was ultra-impressive in facing the breeze and defeating Cold Hard Cash with a 55.5 last half at his last start and a repeat performance will make him hard to beat. SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (3) led throughout in good time at his only race start back in February and warmed up for this assignment with a 25m Byford trial win. STAR LAVRA (1) showed ability in his first campaign and must be considered from the pole. MAGNUS VICTOR (5) was a strong winner at his second race start and looks an improving type.
