Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on April 8, 2022April 8, 2022 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 ROCKABALL (1) couldn’t get into the race at his first start after a break and finished at the rear behind Doc Holliday. He looks the likely leader from the pole draw and should be a big improver. VIVERE DAMORE (5) endured a tough run last week but must be considered on her previous consistent form. WILL I ROCKNROLL (6) has finished 2nd at his last two starts and will be hitting the line hard again. WHOSWHOINTHEZOO (2) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and won’t be far away. Tips: 1 5 6 2 Suggested Bet: ROCKABALL (1) to win. Race 2 NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (2) has hit peak form, winning her last three on end. She goes up in class but was a 1.53.4 winner from the breeze here on Tuesday and is clearly the one to beat. THREE RUMOURS (1) led throughout in good time at her last start before a spell and has trialled nicely in readiness for this assignment. ALTA CINDERELLA (8) was ultra-impressive in winning a recent Pinjarra trial by 39m but has a tough draw to overcome. UNCONDITIONAL (3) was a good all-the-way winner at her last start and is well drawn. Tips: 2 1 8 3 Suggested Bet: NEVERMINDTHECHAOS (2) to win. Race 3 ALTA RHETT (1) led throughout from this draw two starts back and appeals as the one to beat tonight. MISTER BUSHIDO (2) trailed Know When To Run when 2nd to that pacer at his last start and is likely to enjoy the same trip here. BRACKEN SKY (5) is the class horse of the field and his recent trial win indicates he is in for a good campaign. ALICE KAY (6) is racing well and she will be charging home if there is a solid early tempo. Tips: 1 2 5 6 Suggested Bet: ALTA RHETT (1) to win. Race 4 ROBBIE ROCKET (5) had two wins and two placings in his last four starts before going for a short break. He is likely to settle midfield and will be charging home if he can get the right cart into the race. IMA ROCKABILLY REBEL (7) is versatile and will be right in the finish again despite drawing wide. MACZ BROTHER (3) has won seven of his 21 starts and should play a part from his nice draw. ZAZU (1) chased hard when 2nd to Roll Up here on Tuesday and has options from the pole. Tips: 5 7 3 1 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE ROCKET (5) each way. Race 5 DONT BOTHER ME NONE (2) looked back to his best when facing the breeze and dashing home in 55.8 to defeat Will I Rocknroll at his last start. This is a step up in class but he appeals as the one to beat. IDEAL AGENT (8) worked hard and won from this draw at his last start and must be considered again. JASPERVELLABEACH (1) led throughout from this draw two starts back and has the speed to hold the front if desired. ARMA EINSTEIN (10) is drawn to get a nice run just off the speed and can be dangerous late. Tips: 2 8 1 10 Suggested Bet: DONT BOTHER ME NONE (2) to win. Race 6 MISS MUCHO (5) had excuses last start and her previous form was superior to her rivals. She has won one of her two attempts from the stand and will be hard to beat if she steps smoothly. TWOBOB CRACKER (2) led throughout to win a stand at Pinjarra on Monday and will give them something to catch if he bounces to the front here. AMERICAN BULLITT (1) has been placed in seven of his past nine starts and shouldn’t be far away again. AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (6) has won four of his last five starts and must be considered. Tips: 5 2 1 6 Suggested Bet: MISS MUCHO (5) to win. Race 7 VESPA (4) has finished just behind the placegetters at his last two starts against stronger opposition. He is a versatile type who is likely to sit just off the pace and will be hard to hold out. BETTOR BE LIVELY (2) is first-up tonight and resumes for a new stable so monitor the betting. CROCODILE KID (1) ran 2nd here at big odds from the same barrier three starts back and looks a good place chance again. MACHS GOLD (3) will settle just behind the speed and won’t be far away. Tips: 4 2 1 3 Suggested Bet: VESPA (4) to win. Race 8 HEEZ OUR PERSEUS (6) performed well in stronger fields before disappointing when beaten as a $1.05 favourite at his last start. He looks the winner here if he produces anything like his best but punters may be wary after his last effort. BLUE BLAZER (5) has been disappointing of late but has had a short break and resumes for a new stable. THE KRAKEN (4) is racing consistently and can make his presence felt from this draw. MATTJESTIC STAR (2) has only been placed in one of his last 32 starts but can sneak into the money here. Tips: 6 5 4 2 Suggested Bet: HEEZ OUR PERSEUS (6) to win. Race 9 TANTABIDDI (1) looks to have plenty of ability but is not foolproof as yet. He may get his chance to lead tonight and will give a great sight in that role. SOHO FIRESTONE (2) led throughout to record a comfortable victory at his only start and looms as a major player. MAJOR OVERS (4) crossed from a wide draw when 2nd here at his last start and can use his gate speed to advantage again. LETHAL EDITION (5) was placed at big odds here at his last start and will be hitting the line hard. Tips: 1 2 4 5 Suggested Bet: TANTABIDDI (1) to win. Market Market
