Switzerland v Germany

Xherdan Shaqiri was restored to the starting line up for Switzerland last time out and responded with a stunning goal. The draw against Scotland leaves them on four points and well placed to progress. Breel Embolo is building towards full fitness, and Denis Zakaria could see his first minutes of the tournament from the bench. Fabian Schar will play through a fractured nose.

Germany have already booked their place in the last 16 but coach Julian Nagelsmann is keen to finish top of the group too. While he has ruled out making wholesale changes to the team, Jonathan Tah, Antonio Rudiger, Maximilian Mittelstadt, and Robert Andrich are all one yellow card from suspension and may not be risked. Excitement machine Jamal Musiala is aiming to score for the third successive game.

Scotland v Hungary

It’s win or go home for Scotland with one point from a possible six so far and a negative goal difference. Kieren Tierney is out with a hamstring injury and Ryan Porteous has another game to run on his suspension. Che Adams has gotten the nod up front so far but could make way for Lawrence Shankland.

Back-to-back defeats means Hungary need a few things to go their way to have any chance of reaching the knockout stage. They have scored just once so far and Loic Nego, Callum Styles, and Martin Adam are all options if coach Marco Rossi opts for changes. With a win necessary, expect an attacking approach to the game.
