The Scout: EPL Week 11 Posted on November 4, 2021November 4, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Brentford vs Norwich Brentford (12th) come into this match off the back of a disappointing 3-1 loss to Burnley while their opponent Norwich City (20th) are still yet to win a fixture in the Premier League. It has been a positive start to Brentford’s promotion to the topflight league however they have started to dip in form recently and have lost three straight matches. Although two of these losses were against Leicester and Chelsea, their defeat at the hands of Burnley highlighted some concerns. Norwich is a relegation certainty and are clearly the worst team in the league with struggles on both sides of the pitch. Defensively Norwich is a mess and have shipped 25 goals so far this season, the worst in the league. The more alarming issue with Norwich is their complete lack of goal scoring threats, across 10 games they have only managed to find the back of the net a staggeringly low three times. Brentford will control the tempo of the game and possession and will have plenty of opportunity to score while Norwich simply will not. Norwich is yet to score a goal away from home this season in the Premier League and I do not see it happening in this fixture. Suggested Bet: Brentford Win to Nil @ $2.48* Crystal Palace vs Wolverhampton Crystal Palace (13th) will host Wolverhampton (7th) at Selhurst Park. The Eagles come into the match on the back of a tremendous 2-0 victory at Manchester City last weekend while Wolves will be full of confidence following a 2-1 win over Everton last matchday. The Eagles had their biggest win of the season beating the defending champions. The result means Crystal Palace are undefeated in their last 5 games in the Premier League. However, prior to the excellent win at Manchester City, Crystal Palace were struggling to pick up victories and they have drawn 4 of their last 5 Premier League fixtures. Wolverhampton have been in excellent form, they are undefeated in their last five Premier League fixtures, picking up four wins to go along with one draw. The return to form of striker Raul Jimenez has been a key factor in this rise in form. Both sides come into this match in great form and have been scoring goals. Crystal Palace and Wolves have scored 2 or more goals in four of their last five Premier League fixtures. As both sides are coming off the back of big wins and are in great form it’s hard to pick an out right winner however goals will be scored and for Wolves the danger man is Jimenez. I expect the Wolverhampton striker to have plenty of opportunity in a fast paced match. Suggested Bet: Raul Jimenez To Score a Goal @ $3.15* Everton vs Tottenham A midtable battle will take place at Goodison Park between Everton (10th) and Tottenham (9th), in a match that features two sides that are desperate for a win. Everton need to stop the bleeding as they have now lost three matches in the Premier League in a row including a devastating 5-2 loss to Watford. Since the injury to striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in Gameweek 3, the Toffees attack has not looked good with serious questions on their chemistry. Tottenham have lost two straight matches which saw them fail to score a goal, this is a terrible concern for a team that features arguably one of the best strikers in the world. Newly appointed manager Antonio Conte has vowed to restore Spur’s identity and get them back to winning ways. Harry Kane has had his worst start to a Premier League season since becoming a regular to Spur’s starting XI. After it was decided that Kane would not change clubs, the English spearhead has featured in 9 Premier League fixtures for Spurs and has only scored once. Kane is such a prolific goal scorer that his poor record this season will turn around and a new manager is exactly what he needs to re energize his form. The former Golden Boot winner is a goal scoring machine and will find a goal against Everton as he looks to impress his new boss. Suggested Bet: Harry Kane To Score A Goal @ $2.50* *Odds correct as at 11am, 4th November 2021. Market Market
