Shortte’s Handful for Cannington Posted on April 29, 2016April 29, 2016 | Posted by David Shortte David Shortte’s Preview Race 3 – No. 3 Serena Fly High Race 4 – No.1 DUBLINER Up and coming stayer who has won 3 of her last 5 starts over the middle distance trip and last week was magnificent when steaming home to defeat Winsome Jacko by 2 lengths in a new track record time. Has come up with the perfect draw in this event and in a race where there doesn’t look to be a lot of pace she should land straight on top of the speed. Is nice and strong and this looks ideal. Race 4 First Four: 1 – 24678 – 24678 – field $30 spend = 30% Race 6 – No.4 WINSOME JACKO Quality campaigner who has won 3 of his last 5 starts over the 647 metres and 600 metres and last week was a great run when second behind Dubliner in a slick 35.25. Has really taken to the extra ground in his races and in an event which doesn’t appear to have a lot of early speed he should land in a forward position. Will take some stopping from there. Race 6 TRIFECTA: 4 – field – field $30 spend = 71.42% Race 7 – No 5 RAMIFICATIONS Won four straight races here including a slashing Perth Cup heat win before having no luck in last week’s final when an eye catching fourth. Has been flying and while he missed the start last week he had been beginning beautifully prior and if he can step cleanly simply looks too quick for these. The testing material. Race 9 – No. 4 Monaro Monelli QUADDIE : Race 5: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Race 6: 4, 6, 8 Race 7: 2, 5 Race 8: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 $50 spend = 33.33% [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now!” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2016-04-30/pd” linkrel=””]
