Race 6 No. 4 Night Moon

Not a winning machine but strikes a very winnable race here tonight, five starts back he lit the clock up running 29.67. Not a stack of pace in the race so I’m expecting him to roll forward and bounce on the arm. Sandy Basa in box 2 lacks early speed but is very strong late, so we don’t want him on our hammer, really like Night Moon to go all the way.

Race 9 No. 1 Rex Hunter

The Dart final which was held over from last week’s abandoned meeting, Rex generally goes around at prohibited odds most Monday afternoons, but he’s in a final here and he strikes another young gun short courser in Simplicity in box 5, so he won’t be ridiculously short in this final, he’s just bombproof at box rise and scrapes paint off the running rail. Almighty hard to hold out.

Race 12 No. 3 Go Gettem Herbie

Burnt the punters last start when went under at a short price, didn’t get the best of luck on that occasion, in what looks a very suitable target for him tonight, he can bounce back into the winners circle in this race.
