Scott Embry’s Wednesday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 24, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 NO MEAN FEET has an abundance of ability but also more than a fair share of issues. Tough form the wrong side of the straight but can definitely overcome. SMART FOX was scratched from a winnable race at Narrogin to be saved for this. WINDONBROOK showed speed on debut and was nabbed late. Only concern is Jimmy Taylor trains less winners down the straight than he does in Siberia. SPORTY SPICE has shown a bit in two career starts. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 8 – 7 Suggested Bet – NO MEAN FEET WIN Race 2 BRITISH BESSY has really looked handy at last two starts. Most recently hitting the line hard in a race dominated from the front. Steps up in trip and looks a stayer in the making. CONTENTIONAL got another chance last start after the blinkers went on and pulled the whole way. Patience wearing thin. AL CAPITANO will be winning a maiden soon but keeps drawing to get right back. FLIRTY FRIARS looked home last start but was grabbed late. Close. Numbers: 11 – 2 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – BRITISH BESSY EACHWAY Race 3 SCINTILLATING was scratched on Sunday and finds another very suitable option for a first-up assignment. Ran 2nd to Action, Ran 2nd to Vital Silver. Desrves to break through. EXPLOSION could be on the quick back-up. He has had a number of starts but always promised to win one like this. GREAT CHARADE is back sharply in grade and has blinkers on. Will have a lot of supporters. CREATIVE HERO has trialed well enough to win on debut. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 8 – 9 Suggested Bet – SCINTILLATING WIN Race 4 FAMILY DISCUSSION was given every chance first-up and again drawn gate 1 should be going mighty close. Ran into a fairly nice one in that race and gets a wonderful chance here. SUBLIME IMAGE is regally bred and trialed like a horse who could be winning on debut. PRECIOUS CARGO can position up from the gate and finds this easier than recent assignments. DEL SUR could improve at odds. Numbers: 2 – 12 – 11 – 3 Suggested Bet – FAMILY DISCUSSION WIN Race 5 TRANSGRESSOR has been going really well of late. Broke through for a deserved win and then was more than competitive in a Saturday race. Has won down the straight before and that’s a big plus. MOLTEN was game at his WA debut lumping a big weight and only run down late. ARAFURA is a get back and run on type who may actually be suited to winding up down the straight. GET THE VIBE may look to jump and run against the outside fence. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 8 – 5 Suggested Bet – TRANSGRESSOR WIN Race 6 REGAL COUNSEL has really been far from disgraced against the best 3 year olds in the state in the Listed features. This is a huge class drop, gets blinkers on and should go very close. TRADEMENT broke through in maiden grade but looks progressive. MISS MEIKA can always reel off a nice finishing burst. LUCKY LINDA LULU rarely runs a bad race but rarely salutes. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – REGAL COUNSEL WIN Race 7 BEAT THE BELL won on debut down the wrong part of the 1000m straight and then reeled off a sub 33 final 600 behind Fabergino. Then went a bit off the boil. Bounced back last start and can go on with it. MASSA MAC bolted in at Mt Barker for a long deserved win. Capable type. HIGH TEA has been extremely well supported last few starts and is rapidly closing in on a win. BUCKTORIO always a blowout hope. Numbers: 5 – 4 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – BEAT THE BELL WIN Race 8 KLONDIKE KENNY is back to Pinjarra which is where his career really bounced back. Back in grade and back to the home surface, expect him to be rattling late. PADDY’S SHADOW contested top line 3 year old races and will be hard in the market. Deserves to be so and if wound up should be close to winning. ABBY LANE is a nice horse resuming. Worth following. KEEPER’S TALE may be better suited ridden cold. Numbers: 4 – 5 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – KLONDIKE KENNY WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,3 3,5 2,3,4,5,6,7 4,5 Market Market
