Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on August 3, 2021August 3, 2021 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 LA GALEXIA returned off the back of two impressive trial effort with a big finishing effort when fourth behind The Front Bar, He’s A Sizzler and State of Power. That could look strong form if He’s A Sizzler wins on Wednesday at Belmont and while she is drawn woefully she looks a get back and run on filly regardless of where she’s drawn. MR HOLLYWOOD was hitting the line well late behind two handy ones at trials in My Baby Blue Jean and Fine Romance. STARS APLENTY accelerated nicely when the gaps appeared at trials and Colin Webster is having a great run with his younger horses. CITY REGAL looks like getting across and hopefully the pre-race ear muffs help him. Numbers: 9 – 6 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – LA GALEXIA WIN RACE 2 BAMBUN BOY was charging late on debut in a highly encouraging display. Looks like he will only get better and better the further they go and while there’s a slight query on the quality of the form behind Private Poet he did enough to suggest that at start number two provided he stays out of trouble along the inside he’ll take some holding out. RAN A RED LIGHT comes from the same form reference and was making a similarly sustained run at the tiring leader late in the race. PREPARE FOR CHANGE comes from a 4 horse maiden which did contain two handy types in Memorable Miss and Garage Days. Looked to be bolting turning for home. SUNDAY GIN finds a new home. The first-up run behind Sunsphere, Tena Koutou, Celebrity Man and Free Solo was a ripper. Numbers: 3 – 8 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – BAMBUN BOY WIN RACE 3 SUPERIORIZE gave his loyal ownership and hobby breeder Michael ‘Saddler’ Heaton a massive thrill on debut. Word on the street is that they partied like they’d won a Winterbottom and with Blazing Away going straight from a maiden into a C3 and winning again the boys will be up and about for his second start. Needs luck from the horror alley. RUBILICIOUS ROSE continues to show glimpses. Gets some important weight relief after the claim for Victoria Corver. SIR RACHELOT should come across to find a position and has been improving. VERY SECRET finished off her recent trial strongly. Numbers: 4 – 7 – 5 – 11 Suggested Bet – SUPERIORIZE WIN RACE 4 THE LADY IS A VAMP was a tiny little 2 year old filly in her initial preparation and ran some cracking races. Makes her return to racing as a 3 year old in a 1000m straight race at Pinjarra Park, is drawn on the ‘right’ side of the track and gets in with a postage stamp 53.5kg. Kept to the 400m jump outs in typical Luciani fashion and has looked sharp. OZZY BOY has a senior rider back aboard after looming as the winner first-up. MIAMI CITY has important and invaluable 1000m straight experience. Looked ready to win at the trials. ENDLESS BOUNTY showed more than enough in his recent trial to suggest he’s a winning chance on debut for an in-form yard. Numbers: 12 – 2 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – THE LADY IS A VAMP WIN RACE 5 ARRACITY finally broke through to win a C1 last start in an effort that most have been patiently awaiting her to display. Can definitely go on with it now that she has hit form and quite similar to stablemate Fiery Bay looks the kind of horse who can go through the grades. Drawn ideally and strikes a winnable C3. TRILLED is the X-Factor horse on the program. Produced first-up, no trial by Brock Lewthwaite and has to carry 62.5kg. Did run a narrow second in a C5 last campaign so there’s no issue with the ability levels. APPLE SCHNAPPS finally cleared out of C1 company last start. Need to see him do it again. INDIGO WILD should be suited to racing in this grade. Numbers: 4 – 1 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – ARRACITY WIN RACE 6 PRINCE DEVOUTLY was taken on lock, stock and barrel last start in a race where they set some ludicrously fast mid race sections. First 800m was run 15L faster than C3 average and he was left a sitting duck. Did a great job to fight on into third and looks ready. Gets his chance to take a sit here with No Surrender and Run D’Affaire Run likely to roll along in front of him. BEAT THE BRO is another who should be suited by the genuine tempo expected in this race. Find him a hard horse to catch but this definitely looks his kind of race. NO SURRENDER hasn’t looked the same horse this preparation. Could he be a Mitch Pateman animal? MARLIZE sits and waits along the fence on the back-up. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – PRINCE DEVOUTLY WIN RACE 7 SHECKYS MATE has come back to racing as a 7 and now 8 year old in arguably career best form. First-up at 100-1 ran a very cheeky third behind Irritable Rodnee and subsequent winner Arracity before again looming half way down the straight at Belmont behind Cape Reign, Irritable Rodneee and Run Like Fire. Lucy Warwick sticks, C3 back to C1 and given his career SP profile should be going round eachway. RUN LIKE FIRE ran home brilliantly first-up from a spell. Was the old ‘stayer fresh’ and will need to reproduce it here. DECOY BELLE should be tracking up behind the speed and it is impossible to argue with how the mare has returned to racing. 10/10 from Boy Hill last start. TALENTED ESCAPE an improver from the draw with no weight. Numbers: 14 – 1 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – SHECKYS MATE EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2,3,12 1,2,3,4,6 1,2,4,5,6 1,2,14 Market Market
