Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on March 16, 2021March 17, 2021 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 FAIR GRACE was an impressive trial winner who drew wide on debut, went back on a Bunbury meeting where it was near impossible to make ground and finished a distant ninth. Going to follow up from the better draw and see if she can show something at the races. POWERFUL FORCE has been a costly commodity to follow since his debut. Will be breaking his maiden but goes round very short for a limited type. PROCEEDS OF CRIME ran well last week and was finishing off strongly late. MISS BRIGHTON leads and controls. Numbers: 7 – 4 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – FAIR GRACE WIN RACE 2 STARLIFT has run well in all three career outings to date. Flashing up the inside on debut, ran well down the straight when finishing second at her next outing and only 7 days ago was no match for Kaptain Kaos and talented 2 year old Oceanic Rider. Should prove strong form and she gets another chance. STELLAR VISTA is drawn a gate and definitely showed enough at trials to be considered a winning chance on debut. PICCOLA SIGNORA has gone round at big prices in her two outings and certainly run better than expected on paper. TIBETAN BLACK showed glimpses when last in work. Most recent trial the best of her career. Numbers: 4 – 11 – 8 – 5 Suggested Bet – STARLIFT WIN RACE 3 RECITING steps out in trip and looks ready to break her maiden. Has caught the eye in two runs back this campaign. Got too far out of her ground first-up from a wide alley and hit the line hard, second-up chased throughout behind Tumivet. We’ll get a sighter into the strength of that form on Wednesday at Ascot but she does look to have found a nice race. SURVEILLANCE is a perennial maiden. Patience was wearing thin 6 months ago, it’s now or never. STORM THEIF is fairly one paced and will keep plugging away. FALSE EVIDENCE has run alright at her two outings and this isn’t a deep race. Numbers: 9 – 3 – 1 – 10 Suggested Bet – RECITING WIN RACE 4 SMOKER trialled alongside Blue Skates down the straight at Pinjarra and looks to be going well under a hold. Has gate speed as he showed on debut, has the perfect draw to hug the outside fence and should be going close. Looks to have some ability. BLUE SKATES was impressive in that same trial when jumping running and never stopping. Must be respected on debut. ITS TIFFS continues to find one or two better than her every time she goes to the races. Will eventually pinch one. NIMROD worth consideration as a local on debut who is drawn the right side. Numbers: 10 – 12 – 4 – 2 Suggested Bet – SMOKER WIN RACE 5 SHE’S ENCHATED was plunged in early markets at her most recent and ran a much improved race after a lacklustre start to her preparation. Her 3 year old form at Belmont is super and then that C3 she contested most recently is already proving a strong form reference with Our Boy Dylan winning Saturday and Holy Ghost running another ripper. WESTERNIZE is a last start winner and previous to that was completely luckless down the straight behind Requisition. Going super. KICK A GOAL SON is a lightly raced 3 year old returning who has the speed to rail against the outside fence. VICTORY SHOT has been showing dazzling speed at the trials but can the stable produce one down the straight? Good luck Jim, I’ll be waiting with a text drafted. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – SHE’S ENCHANTED WIN RACE 6 BILLY AIN’T SILLY ran well enough first-up to suggest that dropping from a C3 back into a C1 he’d be hard to beat. Add the blinkers, better barrier and relative strength of opposition and he does look very well placed. Did a few things wrong first-up so hopefully the shades sharpen him up. Looks a Saturday horse in the making. SKY DANCE beat him home last start and shouldn’t be much between them again. Come back to racing well and is suited from the inside draw. MICHELLE MA BELLE can be hard to catch if they let her cross. VITAL FLIRT looking for further but has some X-Factor about her. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – BILLY AIN’T SILLY WIN RACE 7 INFLATION is near impossible to catch. Rates really well for a race like this and had absolutely no luck at all down in Albany first-up. Mitch Pateman on a leader is a recipe for long-term profitability so while he has a few convictions and a fairly juicy run of outs we’ll hold the faith and expect him to take some running down. FRIARS FANTASIA had no luck last start when working hard in the middle stages. Form behind Miss Marietta does look great. SAN CRISPINO is never far from them in this grade. DUCK FEET will need luck but is building to another win. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 10 – 8 Suggested Bet – INFLATION WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,4,10,12 1,2,4 1,3,8 1,3,5,8,10 Market Market
