Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on June 1, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 GLASGOW GIRL is drawn the right side of the Pinjarra 1000m straight and has the priceless experience of having raced down it previously. Can find the outside fence and be hard to catch. BRINGON THE VEUVE did a good job first-up when coming across from the flat and racing just behind the speed. SAXON PRINCESS looks to have the necessary speed to come across from the awkward draw. DENGA continues to race consistently and is yet to put in a bad run. Numbers: 9 – 8 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – GLASGOW GIRL WIN Race 2 MY CHINA DOLL was enormous on debut at 1500 when wide throughout and then flopped at Narrogin. Bounced back last start and put in a good effort. Looks like he will win a staying maiden soon. CONTENTIONAL has been hitting the line well from back in the field in similar races to this. Gets back again however. MAMBAZO is untried at the trip but his last three have all been good. UNENDING should enjoy a soft run just behind the speed. Numbers: 8 – 1 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – MY CHINA DOLL WIN Race 3 LOVE STRIKES put in an eye catching run on debut last preparation in a handy little midweek field and then was stepped up immediately to 1400 and went only fairly. Drawn awkwardly but looks to have ability. ALSO AWESOME really caught the eye at her most recent trial. Could be a value inclusion for novelty players. KENDEL’S MEE DAD was from that same trial and pulled away nicely late. Interesting to see where he settles on debut. EXPRESSELLA ran into the classy Arctic Stream twice last preparation. Should find this easier. Numbers: 8 – 10 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – LOVE STRIKES EACHWAY Race 4 GROOVERSHAKER likely goes round as a fairly short priced favourite again and can certainly do things wrong in the run but it is hard to not be impressed with his most recent run in defeat. Wins one soon. REGAL CHANT looks like she will get out towards a mile later in the preparation and her debut effort from a fair way back was strong. ORBIT THE SUN and SHREWD GAMBLE have both had their fair share of chances but are always there abouts. Numbers: 3 – 9 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – GROOVERSHAKER WIN Race 5 MASSA MAC is building towards a win and he did find a bit of traffic at his most recent. Expecting that form to hold up and he should lob into an identical spot in running. MISTY LAD likely slides forward to take up the running from an awkward gate and could easily look the winner at the top of the straight. QUEALLY broke her maiden in style last start storming down the middle of the track. If she repeats that then could make it two on the bounce. DIPLOMAT EXPRESS has no numerical form but could bob up soon. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 5 – 11 Suggested Bet – MASSA MAC WIN SuperPick - Race 5 No. 2 Massa Mac - Win Boost Race 6 DELANEY is a huge query at the trip but always look above average and promised to be a Saturday horse as a 3 year old. Hit the line really well last start and this race is arguably easier. ARFA CHANCE was probably below par for him last start but if he fires to the top then should dictate terms. RAMRUEY on form simply had to win last start and duly saluted. Can definitely put two together. ICECRUSHER comes from a nice form race and this trip is much more suitable for her. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – DELANEY EACHWAY Race 7 TOW ROPE looks like he may have toughened up a bit down in Albany and probably would have put up the white flag and run second last preparation but he dug deep and won well first-up. EVERYTHING’S SWEET improved at every run last preparation and then finally bolted in a weak maiden. The trial left a bit to be desired but could easily finish in the money. MURRAY THE BULLDOG pulls hard in the run and fresh is sure to right up on the speed. CLOAK AND DAGGER could well be suited by an anticipated hot top end tempo. Numbers: 4 – 11 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – TOW ROPE WIN Race 8 UNDISCLOSED put on an absolute galloping exhibition at her only start down the 1000m Pinjarra straight. With blinkers going on and the perfect draw she may well be allowed to run hard up against the outside fence. BONNY BE GOOD beat Caipirinha first-up as a 3 year old. If she can return to her form of 12 months ago she will be going very close. CHIN STRAP has had a lot of mini preparations but hopefully team Casey have him right because he has always looked well above average. LIES IN DISGUISE bolted in two starts ago, forgiving last start. Numbers: 9 – 2 – 5 – 11 Suggested Bet – UNDISCLOSED EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,2,5,7,11 1,2,3,4,8 3,4,8,10,11 2,5,9,11 Bet Now
