Kiwi mare with an outstanding Soft track record having yet to race on Heavy. With the track likely to be somewhere in between that reading tomorrow her stats of 7 wins from 10 Soft track starts in New Zealand plus a placing suggests she’s the one to beat. Couple that with a good 2nd at her only local start recently at Doomben and you have yourself a strong each-way chance.

RACE 3 No.2 Sokudo

Team Snowden trained colt who really looked the goods winning his maiden at Newcastle last start which was his third run back from a break. He had no luck whatsoever first up at Hawkesbury and was far from disgraced at Listed level prior to the last start win. His pattern suggests the step up to a mile is made to order as does the long spacious run home.

Very consistent galloper from the Robert Heathcote stable who looked a little stiff at Doomben last start racing wide all the way and just failing to run down the winner I’m A Rippa who he meets 1.5kg better off at the weights this time around. Just loves the wet ground and has already won twice here at the track, once over this distance. Big chance to go one better.
