Scott Embry’s Friday Albany Preview Posted on March 3, 2022March 3, 2022 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 URBAN WARRIOR comes through the same race as King Of The Jive at Barker last Sunday and it’s worth watching the replay because a few horses did cop interference from the riderless horse and Urban Warrior in particular in the concluding stages. Looks a race in two and with even luck can finally crack it for a win. KING OF THE JIVE finished a narrow second to Risky Lyrics and prior to that chased hard behind Final Authority and from the inside gate gets every mortal hope FINAL PLAN comes back in distance and back to a maiden which helps. RIG A DIG can give cheek if finding the top. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – URBAN WARRIOR RACE 2 LUVACHAT goes a bit hard for his own good and thinking that the services of Brad Rawiller might just be the difference. Looked to be cruising throughout last Sunday at Barker and just got tired late. Quick back-up, back to 1230m and can get across to the top. Like this race for him. CHERRY CAN RUN did run well down the straight at Pinjarra first-up and has no weight at all. HOT TONIC showed she’ll be winning a maiden for Sam Faithfull. COLOUR ME SON is rarely far from them but will need a good ride from a 4kg claimer. Numbers: 2 – 10 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – LUVACHAT WIN RACE 3 BLUE LINE hasn’t been seen at the races for 2 months and looks well placed at his return to racing. Was a new horse under the Sam Faithfull banner and Sam’s horses seem to go best first-up and fresh in their campaign. Drawn ideally and should park just behind the speed. SNEAKY FOX has finally put it all together and looks a far more tractable horse now. Jade McNaught knows him well and he’ll take beating again. RAGING ROCKET is always hitting the line hard. CALBANESCO surprised them last start with a strong win. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – BLUE LINE WIN RACE 4 APOLLO put the writing on the wall last start with a really strong fourth behind Cristal Dane, How’s The Serenity and Secret Deploy. That form reads up particularly well and as long as Andrew Castle can navigate the tricky barrier he looks well placed to score. LACEVINSKY found when he had to last start and has had a really good campaign in the Great Southern. Cutaway means he gets every possible. SIR SNUGALOT is a great apprentices horse and can roll along. OLGA LOUISA is really well placed and really quick. Can she run out a strong 1320 is the query. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – APOLLO WIN RACE 5 WHAT ABOUT MOSES had three runs earlier in his preparation. First-up finished 2.5L off Son Son, Apple Schnapps and Reign of Fire and then put in a shocker second-up when heavily supported at Barker. Last seen in an Ascot 66+ when finishing 2.5L off Vital Blast, Phoneme and Solid Azza. Goes great fresh and like the fact Steve Wolfe has gone with the senior. RECHARGER is never far from the action wherever he races. Suited to these country ratings races and has a new lease on life now. ATHLONE CASTLE runs for Kristy Bennett and has a short sharp sprint suited to cutaway racing. VRUM is going super but this is harder. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – WHAT ABOUT MOSES WIN RACE 6 MORGS FREEMAN has promised to win a race all campaign but hasn’t quite been able to find the right race. Third in a 70+ behind Lacevinsky and then even last start a big finishing second to talented front running mare Llessur on a day where it was nearly impossible to make ground at Mt Barker. Brad Rawiller on and we’re on. Good race for him. HOOLAHOOPS was ridden upside down last start. Huge winner two starts back and worth following. STARORIO should get a soft run and then sneak through along the cutaway late in the race. CHASING CHAOS is always a chance when he can find the front. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – MORGS FREEMAN WIN RACE 7 GETYOURMONEYANDRUN has really stamped himself as a progressive horse for Paul Hunter. Finished over the top of Hole In One and Currimundi at Barker and then went close behind Lucy Da Grey before scoring a C2 victory 7 days later. Stays in the same grade, drops 2kg and maps a treat. Excellent use of the Dyson claim and looks very hard to beat the way he’s going. STRAITE AND NARROW comes back in distance and is rock hard fit. ART ADMIRER ran a really cheeky race two starts ago. Ryan Hill can improve these tried types. SEE YA CHAMP is hard to catch but she’s going well. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 10 – 12 Suggested Bet – GETYOURMONEYANDRUN WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2,3,5,6 1,2,3 1,3,4,9 1,3,4,10,12 Market Market
