RACE 3 No. 5 Eusebio

Godolphin galloper who many (including myself) thought was ready to win last start however it appears we were likely one run too early! He hit the line strongly over the 1400m trip however just couldn’t quite make up the necessary ground to land the win. With an extra 100m in his favour tomorrow and now at peak fitness he’ll prove extremely hard to hold out over the concluding stages.

RACE 4 No. 6 Another Sin

Happy to give this lightly raced Scone visitor another chance here. Narrow however impressive winner on debut before thrown in the deep end at his second start when unplaced behind the likes of Pariah and Chauffeur etc in the San Domenico. He resumed at Randwick recently when narrowly beaten as a market drifter, that suggests he’ll take plenty of benefit from the run and will produce a lot sharper this time around.

RACE 7 No. 8 George Patton

Ex French galloper now with Team Snowden who is one of the most interesting runners going around on the day. A veteran of only the 5 starts in France he finished out of the placings only once which was in Group 1 company beaten 6 lengths into 5th placing. Sold to Hong Kong he never made it to the track and now finds himself here having trialled well. If not a noted market drifter he can just about get away with this.
