Chris’ Rosehill Rundown Posted on July 15, 2016July 21, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 5 No. 10 Obsidian Chris Waller trained import who has had the 4 starts in Australia over two preparations and now looks to have hit his straps. Strong finishing effort first up before repeating the dose here a fortnight back over this trip after giving away a huge start courtesy of a wide draw. Comes up with a better gate tomorrow and gets his chance to break his local duck. RACE 7 No. 8 Painte Just busting to win a race and the key tomorrow could well be the drop in weight from lumping 59 and 60.5kg at his last couple of starts dropping down to 55kg tomorrow. Yes he is up in grade however I don’t see that being an issue. He races well here and can make up for the slightly disappointing effort at Randwick last time out. RACE 8 No. 7 Thud Dual acceptor who has been scratched from Race 9 to run here. Surely the most unlucky horse going around in Sydney at the moment! Held up for a clear crack at her rivals both runs this time in particularly last time out when arguably she should have won. Again drawn an inside gate however surely this time luck will be on her side at the business end of the race.
