Oli Cownie’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 30, 2024December 30, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch Race 1 BEE BEE BEROC (7) has the key handicap advantage on his main rival in this race. He is a horse that can do things wrong. On his best behaviour he looms as hardest to beat in this race. SELLUNE (8) is the best performed horse in this race but does face a significant handicap. He is likely to be thereabouts again. BONNIE RAE (6) loves racing at Pinjarra. Appears to be going better than her numerical form. YOUR KIDDING (5) is racing reasonably and looks one for the minor money. Tips: 7 8 6 5 Suggested Bet: BONNIE RAE (6) each way. Race 2 SIR WILLOUGHBY (9) returned nicely last start battling on strongly for second after a nice trial win. Should better for that first up effort and looks very hard to beat in this race. PINJARRA ROCKS (7) is a horse that’s shown ability but is yet to put it all together. He led last start and faded late into third. DOUGS LEGACY (2) has been an improver throughout this campaign and has some gate speed. EAGLE BOY (4) should be finishing off strongly after a good debut last start. Tips: 9 7 2 4 Suggested Bet: SIR WILLOUGHBY (9) to win. Race 3 YAWOMA (8) appeared to have good high speed in Victoria. He scored a victory up the sprint lane two runs ago which is likely a similar run to what he will secure in this race. LAZARUS STAR (1) has gate speed and is second up in this race. Should be fitter and is likely to prove hard to catch if able to lead. FLY SHE CAN (5) has shown ability and ran a good race two starts ago. Did the work last start and tired late. OFFICIAL ROCK (6) Tips: 8 1 5 6 Suggested Bet: YAWOMA (8) to win. Race 4 ROCKNROLL JEWEL (7) ran well enough last start in what appeared a stronger maiden. Will likely need the tempo on but if there is she can be finishing off well. INTERNAL WAVES (2) is better than his recent efforts. His best would make him very hard to beat in a race of this nature. IDEALINCIDER (5) is rarely too far away in his races. This looks suitable and he will be in the finish with the right run. WHOOPSADAISY (3) is a long standing maiden that appears be racing in better form now. Tips: 7 2 5 3 Suggested Bet: ROCKNROLL JEWEL (7) Race 5 THE VAN GOGH CAMEL (8) scored a win at huge odds at this track last time in. Thought his return last start was promising running through the line well late. ICY COLD (1) is a gate speed horse that will likely be suited by the move back to the mile. She set a strong tempo last start and got very tired late but was entitled to. LADY CAMEL (10) was a good winner two starts ago but faces a tougher task in this race outside the back row. I CROSS MY HEART (4) trialled reasonably. Looked a knockout hope with luck. Tips: 8 1 10 4 Suggested Bet: THE VAN GOGH CAMEL (8) to win. Race 6 FAT LOUIE (7) is a promising horse that’s scored 3 wins from his 4 career starts. He looked sharp there at Narrogin sweeping around them and racing away. Looks very hard to beat. CEE DEE THREE (1) showed ability last time in with three good runs in his three career starts. He is first up for a number of months having not trialled so it is difficult to know where he is at. ITS JUSTA SHOTAWAY (8) ran well last start after taking a trail on Alwaysbfrank. Could secure a similar run in this race. A DUKE TO BE (10) is first up in this race and has drawn poorly. Tips: 7 1 8 10 Suggested Bet: CEE DEE THREE (1) to place. Race 7 KABOCHON (6) is probably the class horse in this race. He has very high speed and I think there are a few ways he can go about winning this race. ALWAYSBFRANK (8) has been really impressive his last couple of starts. He backed up a good lightning lap win with another good win over the 2100 last start. SOHO SKYFALL (7) took on a strong race last start from a poor draw and wasn’t beaten far. He is versatile in this type of grade. ARIONROCK (10) has an awkward draw to navigate but plenty of ability to offset that. Ran a good second last start behind Chaco Eagle. Tips: 6 8 7 10 Suggested Bet: KABOCHON (6) to win. Race 8 XCEPTIONAL ARMA (6) is the class runner in this race. She was good last start behind Nase Vira beaten about a length. THE WILDCARD (1) tired late last start but was entitled to given the very fast mile rate. He has a good draw in this and is likely to take plenty of catching. HEAVENLY WAGE (3) is a lightning lap specialist and is rarely far away in these race. SECRET REACTION (4) is a last start winner at Gloucester park. Tips: 6 1 3 2 Suggested Bet: THE WILDCARD (1) to win. Market Market
