Northam 16 March – Greyhounds Preview Posted on March 16, 2016March 16, 2016 | Posted by David Shortte David Shortte’s Preview Race 4 No. 8 Romeo Jakit Race 5 No. 3 You Choose Race 8 No. 4 BROCK ON Was on debut at this circuit last week and could barely have been more impressive leading all the way to win by nearly 10 lengths in a slick 29.54. Has won both starts from this draw in the past and with a clean getaway should again take a stack of beating. In box one Ksenya threatens as some danger if it runs up to its best but I liked what I saw last week and I’m happy to stick with Brock On. Race 11 No. 1 TEXAN STAR Is bursting to win a race after placings at his last four starts and this race looks right up his alley. Has had 6 tries from this box for 3 wins and 2 placings. Looks drawn to shoot straight to the top and going on his recent runner-up performance in 34.29 he would be hard to get past if he was able to assume the role as pilot. This looks his turn for a well-earned win. Race 12 No. 1 SEA BROOK BOY Recorded a career best performance here last week when jumping straight to the top and leading throughout in 17.31. The early sectional of 6.29 was slick and if he can get out of the boxes in a similar fashion here will be the dog to beat. Has not been the most reliable conveyance in his career to date but quite simply if he can repeat last week’s effort he wins again.
