Race 1 – No. 1  Fiorella Forward

Had no luck throughout from an awkward draw last week so best to forget she went around. Drawn to use her early pace and can lead them all the way.

Race 4 – No. 1  Universal Gas

Grade dropper who has been plying her trade out on the wing over the past two months but she has finally drawn the ace here, a box where her record is 5 wins from 6 attempts. Expect her form to take a turn tonight.

Race 8 – No. 1  Buck Monelli

Finding wins hard to come by but he is never too far from the action and has his first red rug of the year where he can produce his early pace to set up a winnable lead. Can hang on this time.

Each Way:

Race 3 – No. 1  Duramax

A back to back winner in his only two starts in red, both in novice company at the start of his career. Has been waiting for this rug for 7 months and should not let the opportunity go to waste.

Race 2 – No. 1  Zack Monelli

Will appreciate the significant drop in grade and the favourable draw. Will be relying on luck but should prove too strong at the finish.

Race 6 – No. 3  Chimera Monelli

Stepping up to the middle distance for the first time but breeding suggests he’ll appreciate the longer trip and will no doubt give this a real shake.

Race 9 – No. 1  Withers Monelli

Has been doing his best work at Mandurah of late but he will find this much easier than recent runs in town and can go all the way if he stays on the straight and narrow.

Each Way:

Race 3 – No. 1  Rockstar Patriot

Proven over the trip and in this company and while he may not have won for a short while, he showed a glimpse last week over 600m that a return to winning form is not far off. Should relish the rise back up to 715m and cannot be underestimated.

Race 7 – No. 2  Magic Brandi

While she is winless in 9 runs over the journey she has been racing in consistent form at Cannington over the short course. With the anticipated scratching of the runner in red Junk Yard Patch, she’ll effectively have the rails draw. Can break the Mandurah drought.

Race 8 – No. 1  Son Of Jaimaca

Graduated to graded company in fine style last start, leading all of the way in a PB of 22.71. Has his first red rug and looks too slick again.

Race 9 – No. 3  Charos Special

Has finished on the podium in two runs over this trip, both from surrounding draws. This is no tougher and she can play a major part in the finish again.
