Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on May 29, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 FLOAT OUR BOAT had the blinkers on first time last start, lead them up over a mile and was only collared late in the race. Small field, similar conditions suit. Lead, control, rack stack and then kick. RUN D’AFFAIRE RUN has been a model of consistency and should finish top two again. DOMINEER draws far better and if she can reproduce her run from three or two starts ago she goes very close. BUSH ICON next best in a fairly limited race. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – FLOAT OUR BOAT WIN RACE 2 MISS MALIBU was scratched on Thursday to save for this and like her last few starts from the good gate Victoria Corver should have her in the world perfect position. There is no obvious leader and she can take it up or she can sit one out and one back and either way should go awfully close to breaking her duck. SLY AS A FOX has been getting under the radar and running nice races without a lot of luck. ICARIAN comes back in trip and did cop a fair old kick in the yard from a rival last start. RICHARDSON Jason Whiting sticks and that could be a push. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – MISS MALIBU WIN RACE 3 OCEAN CANDY is a natural off-speed runner and down the middle of the track has been the place to beat at Pinjarra for the last few meetings especially when the condition has been a soft5/6/7. Put a line through the run two starts ago when settling in a different postcode and any of her other four runs this prep probably win this. MARCASITE should settle first few and whacks away. FLYING TRIX is going alright and from the gate can settle midfield with a smother. MISS BRIGHTON ran a ripper last start at a huge price. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – OCEAN CANDY WIN RACE 4 ELITE STREET should be too good for moderate maiden opposition. Only seen once and that was in an open 3 year old race when sitting deep the trip behind We’ve Got Dreams, Mia Dolce and Levitate. That looks super form for a race like this and from the gate he’ll sit close handy and should be winning. CITY INVASION went round well supported on debut and ran a nice race. Should be getting better and better with racing. KINDER KINDER will be sacked by many a punter from last start but returning to rain affected going is worth forgiving. HARISASA fought hard on debut underneath a nice type. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 6 – 10 Suggested Bet – ELITE STREET WIN RACE 5 CELTIC DIVA is in a rich vein of form like many of Alan Mathews mares at the minute (Vintage Stock and She’s Alight) and is going from strength to strength. She wound up down the middle of the track last start and from that race Almaster was backed as if unbeatable Wednesday and duly saluted. Meets a similar level of field and should reproduce the result. UNENDING has to carry an extra kilo for being beaten home last start by Celtic Diva but the senior rider goes back on and she is a model of consistency. TORTINA is fresh almost 40 days between runs and draws the soft gate she needs. ROLL THE GOODTIMES is getting better at each Ash Maley start. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 8 – 6 Suggested Bet – CELTIC DIVA WIN RACE 6 BEANIE has been there abouts all campaign and this looks his most suitable assignment and most winnable race of the campaign. There are no stars in this and the favourite is likely going to open artificially short. Settles in the first few in running and is a soft6 winner if there is rain around or residual moisture in the track. KRAKKAS is in white hot form and Jimmy Stewart is being vindicated on his high opinion of this emerging stayer. TWENTYTHREE RED can lead them up and horses are seriously running for Twentythree Red. WE’LL MEET AGAIN was flat last start. Previous runs sound. Numbers: 5 – 9 – 1 – 10 Suggested Bet – BEANIE WIN RACE 7 CHIEF ARCHER resumed from a long break and really chased hard. The draw is better and the 1400 should suit even better. This is an even field and he can give it a shake at an eachway quote. JAG THE JOKER was super at her most recent. Steps to 1400 and can race both on and off pace. MIMS WIN won with a leg in the air last start. Reproduce that and he is very much in the mix. STARAUTHORESS is going well in the Great Southern. Numbers: 1 – 8 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – CHIEF ARCHER WIN RACE 8 FLOWER OF SCOTLAND set the track alight first-up when backed from $10 into $4.8 justifying the support. She is the kind of mare who runs her best races when allowed to do whatever she wants and ending up running down the middle of the track. The clocks says if she reproduces that she’ll be very hard to hold out. WILD FRONT should find the front again and that is where he is loving it at the moment. ROSEBUSH should box seat and get the softest of runs. CHESTEN FLYER ran his best race of the last 12 months first-up. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 9 – 8 Suggested Bet – FLOWER OF SCOTLAND WIN RACE 9 FRIAR AWAY has been building quietly behind the scene. Three starts ago was completely luckless when running eighth but being held up at crucial stages and copping a number big bumps. Last start was the first ride for Madi Derrick and they looked to get along really well. Should lob a lovely position from the gate. TRADENSIA has the blinkers going on and while her last two have been a touch flat she is a nice filly going places. SLUICE BOX won well at his most recent at Geraldton. STELLA ANNE gets in well in this grade. Keep safe. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – FRIAR AWAY WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,10 1,2,7,8 1,7,8,9 3,4,6,8 Market Market
