Race 2 – No. 6  Fernando Monelli

Hasn’t won for a while but showed encouragement last start when racing wide throughout for 3^rd from this very draw. Gets his chance to break the drought here.

Race 3 – No. 6  Kili Monelli

Down in grade and does her best work over this trip. Can handle a wide draw and looks to have the class edge on her rivals.

Race 7 – No. 7  Garbrandt

Talented chaser who was good without winning at his Mandurah debut over 405m last week. Better suited to this distance and will prove hard to hold out at the finish.

Defeated a select line up last start when leading all the way in a PB of 29.88. Drawn to lead again and will take catching.

Race 6 – No. 7  Destroyer

Stayer who has won over this shorter 520m trip recently, finishing too well after racing worse than midfield most of the way. Looks too strong again.

Race 8 – No. 2  Rockhold

Well-bred chaser who resumed with a win over the 405m at Mandurah last start. Drawn well and better suited over this trip. Commands respect.
