Race 5 – No. 2  Pepper Fire

Exceptional chaser who is rapidly closing in on $100k mark in earnings. She returns from a stint in Victoria where she won twice, including a heat of the Laurels Classic before finding early bother after a slow beginning in a Semi before finishing 7th. Drawn perfectly for her first local run back and while she meets a handy line up, she looks the one to beat if she produces her best.

Race 8 – No. 2  Cosmic Malteze — SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win)

He has been racing below his best for a while now but that has been in much tougher company than he meets tonight. His most recent victory was in late October but that was last time that we saw him in this grade, where he managed to led all the way in a slick 30.16 from a similar draw to this one. With his best jump in stripes, similar should be expected from him tonight.

Race 11 – No. 5  West On Sutro

Yet to break through in 8 starts at the track but he was up against elite chasers like Penny Monelli, Times Square & West On Hawkeye to name a few. He has recently found consistent form at TABtouch Park Mandurah though where he has been posting some impressive times. He looks the likely leader in this and should take plenty of running down if he does jump in front.
