Speedster who nearly lowered her PB last week, leading all the way in a smart 29.94 and defeating the equally talented Times Square by over a length in the process. She has yet to miss a place from this draw and is not surrounded by the best of beginners, so if she pings to the front again, they’ll have a devil of a time trying to run her down once more.

Race 7 – No. 1  Lachlan Monelli — SuperPick Profit Plus 25% (Win)

Highly impressive youngster who has finished no further back than 4th in 12 starts to date. He is in search of a hat trick after impressive wins on the Provincial circuit and while he is not the best of beginners, he should get a soft run from this draw and will be charging over the top of the tiring leaders entering the straight and should earn himself another gold medal.

Race 9 – No. 1  Baraka

Prepared to keep following this exceptionally bred chaser despite going unplaced in both tries over this trip. She had no luck at all last week from a similar draw but still showed plenty of determination, finishing on the heels of the placegetters with a powerful charge from the tail of the field. She won’t take much longer to break through over this journey with runs like that.
