Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on September 4, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 4th September 2020 Race 2 – No. 8 Rouge Down to a more suitable grade and out to one of his favourite draws. Can be risky early but a clear path in running should see him land his first win in WA. Race 3 – No. 8 Sudoku Jaguar Has the runs on the board over the trip, with top two finishes in all 4 tries so far. Times have been strong and is down half a grade despite his strong form. Only needs to handle the awkward draw to figure prominently again. Race 5 – No. 2 Royce Monelli Blew the cobwebs out last week when first up and looked set to play a big part in the finish but he lost the compass on the home turn and only managed to finish 4th. Better for the run and can make amends in this alley. Each Way: Race 8 – No. 6 Resting Toucher Midfield throughout when resuming last week, albeit in much tougher company. Fitter for the run and will appreciate the vacant draw to his inside. Can surprise with improvement at box rise. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2 / 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.3.6.7.8 $50 for 125% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 5th September 2020 Race 3 – No. 7 Hastie Guess Not having much luck of late with the draws and he has been covering plenty of extra ground over this journey so he should be rock hard fit. Should give a good sight again. Race 6 – No. 4 Counting Kuna The class runner whose times over the trip have been electric with wins in 3 of his past 5 here. Yet to miss a place from the draw and looks hard to catch in this company. Race 11 – No. 4 Sunset Hellfire Had no luck last start so best to forget he went around. Will be better for the experience and can bounce back to his best with clear running in transit. Each Way: Race 8 – No. 1 Nessa’s Ex Teddy Placed for the first time over the trip last start when racing prominently throughout. Her times haven’t been anything to write home about and will need things to go her way but should give plenty of cheek again. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.4 / 1.4 / 2.4.5.7 / 1.2.6 $50 for 69.44% Trifecta – Race 4 4 / 1.2.5.6.7 / 1.2.3.5.6.7.8 $3o for 100% First Four – Race 11 4 / 2.3.7.8 / 2.3.7.8 / 1.2.3.7.8 $50 for 138.88% Bet Now! Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 6th September 2020 Race 2 – No. 1 Cyclone Ruby Lee Form has tapered but she has the coveted red rug where she gets to use her early pace and she should be strong at the finish. Capable of turning it all around in this small line up. Race 5 – No. 4 Don’t Guess A winner in just 1 of 7 over the trip but the majority of those runs have been in FFA company where he was outpaced early before running home strongly to finish in and around the placings in strong times. Will find this more to his liking and will be thundering home with purpose again. Race 8 – No. 6 Renewed Versatile chaser who relished the red at his third local start, leading all the way in good time over 520m at Cannington last Sunday. A similar exit from the boxes in his Mandurah debut should see him go back to back. Bet Now! Bet Now!
