Race 1 – No. 4  Bust Or Boom

Took on a couple of the states best chasers on debut over this trip when contesting a Mandurah Derby Heat and acquitted himself well, sticking on for 3rd in 27.83. Will find this more to his liking. Looks too smart for these.

Race 3 – No. 3  Chomp Monelli

A winner in 3 of 5 over the distance, including a BON 27.30 victory in this company 5 starts ago. Led all the way in City FFA company last week and looks set to dominate again.

Race 8 – No. 1  Canya Oscar

Was strong in the back half of the race last week when dropping to the rails and rounding up early leader Nando’s Thunder (3) to salute in 22.78. Has the draw to repeat the dose.

Each Way:

Race 4 – No. 2  Royce Monelli

Wins have been well spaced and he is unplaced in two runs in stripes but he should get a nice run in behind early leaders and can capitalise on any misfortune his rivals may suffer approaching the turn.

Race 2 – No. 7  Jailbreak Guess

Talented chaser who can do things wrong but the blinkers go on for her return to the track and she looks hard to hold out if her mind is on the job.

Race 3 – No. 2  Hostile Guess

Has been racing well in easier recently with 3 all the way wins, mostly from similar draws. Will take a power of beating if finding the top again.

Race 5 – No. 1  Rolo Monelli

Rewarded for consistency when proving too strong late from this draw last week in 29.97. Can go on with the job now and looks hard to hold out again.

Race 8 – No. 2  Sunset Milo

Has been finding plenty of trouble in his recent runs when mixing form but he lands his favourite draw and gets his chance to show what he is capable of.

Race 1 – No. 2  Takers To Vegas

Last start winner from a similar draw over the distance in a PB and BON of 22.76. A similar effort should see her winning comfortably again.

Race 5 – No. 8  Zipping Aspen

Had no luck in a tougher line up last start but still kept trying hard when 5th after peeling to the outside and making some late headway. A winner from this draw 3 runs ago in solid time and she is capable of bouncing back in this.

Race 9 – No. 2  Absolute Ruby

Usually thereabouts, finishing in and around the placings in 7 of her past 9 at a variety of tracks and distances. Will appreciate her favourite draw and a return to winning form would not surprise.
