Race 2 – No. 4  Vienna Charm

She can be hard to find on her night but she drops in grade here and it would not surprise to see her lead all of the way just as she did when last seen in this company.

Race 7 – No. 5  Untold Soldier

Gifted former Victorian who has finished in the money in 36 of his 45 starts to date. A winner in multiple states and looks set to add another to the list.

Race 8 – No. 1  West On Violet

Risky beginner who is better known over longer but she has drawn nicely in red and will be doing her best work late again. Each Way appeal.

Each Way:

Race 6 – No. 6  Equity Fund

Has bounced back to his best with back to back wins over 380m at Cannington. This is tougher but he did finish runner up in this company in a heat and final of the Winter Sprint and he doesn’t mind the draw either.

Race 2 – No. 2  Barcali

Winless in 8 starts in stripes but the majority of those have been against quality opposition (Poke The Bear, Rippin’ Sam, Dyna Dean, Degani). Back up in distance and should make a real fist of it.

Race 3 – No. 6  Joker Poker

She has handled the significant rise in grade quite well and although she can use plenty of the track at times, she is very quick out of the boxes which should set her up for victory early on in the piece.

Race 10 – No. 4  Chevy’s Entry

Had no luck last week so best to forget he went around. Prior to that he strung together 4 wins in a row and is certainly able to bounce back to his best.

Each Way:

Race 5 – No. 2  Empty Chamber

Strong finisher who’ll need plenty to go his way but he has drawn favourably and is capable of the upset if there was to be any trouble early in running.
