Michael Heaton’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on June 12, 2019June 12, 2019 | Posted by Michael Heaton Michael Heaton’s Preview Race 1 ADVOCATOR looks extremely well-placed dropping back to a maiden after racing out of her grade in hot Saturday races at her past three starts. She’s drawn awkwardly here but her efforts two and three starts back read outstanding for a race of this type. FRISKEY GAL hasn’t raced for 12 months but was tuned up with a nice all-the-way trial win recently, albeit in slow time. AMILLIONITE also resumes and is likely looking for further but trialled okay and the Pike/Durrant combination has to be respected. GLOBAL RULER gave cheek at big odds when rolling forward last start and can do the same here. Numbers: 6 – 10 – 8 – 1 Suggested Bet – ADVOCATOR WIN Race 2 WAR IN PARADISE comes out of an extremely hot maiden sectional-wise where they ran eight lengths above benchmark. She clocked the fastest final 200m split and is drawn to get the run of the race here. VERDANDI makes her race debut and her recent trial win was in slow time, however, her last-to-first effort was visually very impressive. BOOTLEG RASCAL resumes and hit the line nicely in a recent trial. The 1200m first-up looks ideal. ALLURING has had plenty of chances but should get a soft run. Numbers: 7 – 12– 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – WAR IN PARADISE WIN Race 3 SIR MAMBO has been a beaten favourite at each of his three runs this preparation but hasn’t been beaten far. His last start was run 5.5 lengths above benchmark and his previous straight-course experience should hold him in good stead here INDIGO WILD has placed in four of her five starts, also has straight circuit experience and has drawn the right side of the track with Pike aboard. DASH FOR KNICKERS resumes off the back of two sound trials and can play a part, while SUPER TEROITOA was plain first-up but his previous form suggests he’s better than that and the blinkers go back on here. Numbers: 1– 9 – 11 – 5 Suggested Bet – SIR MAMBO WIN Race 4 ZENAZE looks smart and has drawn ideally. He strikes an ordinary field here and should take a power of beating. DELTA BELLE makes her race debut and was doing her best work over the concluding stages in her recent trials. She is likely to sit back and flash late. MICHELLE MA BELLE hasn’t too far away in her two runs this preparation, backs up off eight days and has the addition of blinkers for the first time here. RUN FOR MONEY races 29 days between runs and has drawn wide but his efforts have been sound and he appears to have more upside than a lot of these. Numbers: 2 – 16 – 15 – 14 Suggested Bet – ZENAZE WIN Race 5 MEGAZONE has an awkward draw to overcome but is going well. He was an impressive winner at this track and distance three starts back before contesting hot Saturday races at his next two. This is a big drop in grade and if he can lob three-deep-with-cover he’ll take some beating. Last-start winner LOCK HER IN has turned the corner over the past month. She. FINANCIAL SUPPORT followed his nice trial performance with a fast-finishing win first-up last week and Pike goes on. HERRON SAND also backs up off eight days and is coming out of an extremely strong sectional race. Numbers: 5– 10 – 2 – 14 Suggested Bet – MEGAZONE WIN Race 6 MORNING SONG returned huge figures last start when finishing a long-neck second in a race ran more than four lengths above benchmark. She’s drawn ideally here and should prove hard to hold out. ARMED AND READY looked the winner at his last outing before getting out-punched over the last 50m. He has the same draw and should be thereabouts again. ALTAMONT comes from the same race and was doing his best work over the final furlong. His previous two starts were in much tougher company than this. SUGAR CAIN also comes from the same race as the previous two and was a cracking effort first-up over 2000m. You’d assume she’d take natural benefit from that run and will be steaming home late. Numbers: 4 – 5 – 3 – 11 Suggested Bet – MORNING SONG WIN Race 7 SKY ATLAS was no better than four-deep and without cover at Ascot two starts back before hitting the line strongly from the tail of the field when an eye-catching second last time out. This is the first time he has drawn a barrier in five starts. ZETORIO hasn’t threatened for a while and he is drawn awkwardly but his past nine starts have been at Group, Listed or Saturday level. THE ENCHANTRESS resumes off the back of two nice trials and was a first-up winner over this distance last preparation. RARE COIN also resumes and hasn’t won a race for 495 days but trialled well without blinkers lately and the shades go on here. Seven of his past eight starts have been at Saturday level and trainer Brett Pope is the king of Pinjarra. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 11 – 8 Suggested Bet – SKY ATLAS EACHWAY Race 8 QUINTARO has hit the line nicely behind two talented types at his first two runs back this preparation. He looks suited third-up over a mile here and should be peaking. SEA SPRING backs up off seven days after a good effort racing against his usual pattern. He was beaten narrowly at this track and distance the start prior. COCKATIEL also backs up off seven days and raced over the same distance, in a race that was ran six lengths slower, but she’s drawn to get the run of the race here. IMORTALITE’s last outing wasn’t ran to suit whatsoever but his previous effort was solid. Numbers: 4 – 12 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – QUINTARO EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,5,10,14 4,5 3,6,8,11 4,6,12 Market Market
