Michael Heaton’s Sunday Bunbury Preview Posted on May 29, 2026May 29, 2026 | Posted by Michael Heaton RACE 1 WHITE HOT resumed with a nice third first up and looks suited by the step to 1200m here. She’s a beautifully-bred filly who can be kept out of trouble from the gate on a wet day where that could be advantageous. COMMON TOUCH was around the mark last preparation and trialled up nicely ahead of his return. MIND FIELD debuted in a strong maiden last prep, has shown enough in his trials either side of that effort and gets Pike. KENTUCKY DRIVE has found it difficult to break through but is getting closer. Numbers: 6-1-3-4 Suggested Bet – WHITE HOT WIN RACE 2 PARTAY looks hard to beat. Her placings to A Summer Fling/My Danny Boy and then I’m Odette last campaign read up very well for this and she should a gun run parked just behind the speed for Pike. WESTERN MISS debuts off the back of a solid trial and gets in with only 53.5kg after Cassey Martinan’s claim. LEMMOR FILOU is another debutant who trialled up well recently and can roll forward for the top Michael Lane-Chris Parnham combination. MAURICE’S PRINCESS is the other speed in the race and can be up there for a long way in this field. Numbers: 4-12-10-7 Suggested Bet – PARTAY WIN RACE 3 REMINISCENCE resumes and looks a nice horse in the making. His fast-finishing debut second last preparation really caught the eye then he drew the outside and covered ground in a Saturday 3YO Plate and was beaten less than 2 lengths. The Farnan colt has trialled up well and looks the one. ROCKING IN VEGAS is a 21-start maiden but he raced well without luck last campaign and made an encouraging return first up. ENCHANTED MISS went under first up at Albany but did her best work late on the heavy-10 track and was narrowly beaten. MISS BICKMORE has drawn a touch awkwardly for her debut but she found the line well in her recent trials. Numbers: 2-1-7-13 Suggested Bet – REMINISCENCE WIN RACE 4 LORD MOMO has always shown ability and has found a nice race here. He was no match for Arizona Sky last start but that looked a stronger race than this and he should enjoy a sweet run one-out and one-back. AGENT REMINGTON was solid 1240m up to 1600m in a fast-run race last time out and has been around the mark at each of his 3 starts to date. WHO’S TALKING appreciated the rise in trip second-up and should be nearing his peak now. 2 of his best runs to date came at Bunbury. BHULLAR had been going well but is now 53 days between runs at 1675m. Numbers: 3-4-7-8 Suggested Bet – LORD MOMO WIN RACE 5 SASSY SNIPPET hit the line super reeling off some of the fastest closing sectionals over 1200m last start and now steps to 1400m in a large but fairly basic field. She looks mighty hard to hold out. LADY MONEY TALK trialled up well then was a solid run first up at Albany. She’s another who looks suited stepping to 1400m. BESTON STREET hasn’t been far away lately and was only 3.5L off Like Clockwork/Hurricane Harley/Why She Stayed at Bunbury last preparation. LEG GODT next best. Numbers: 13-14-6-16 Suggested Bet – SASSY SNIPPET WIN RACE 6 POBLANO is a progressive and lightly-raced 4YO resuming. She showed both tactical versatility and talent in her first race campaign last preparation, trialled up well enough and looks a mare with plenty of upside. SUNLIT FRESCO races first up, no trial and is undefeated 2 from 2 at Bunbury. Her peak form would see her hard to run down if she can roll to the top. JELLYBEAN JONES bolted in on a heavy-10 track at Albany last start and could get similar suitable conditions. EFFORTLESSLY has hit the line powerfully at her past 2 starts but now loses Pike. Numbers: 2-1-3-5 Suggested Bet – POBLANO WIN RACE 7 FRIAR’S LEGACY has been knocking on the door all campaign and strikes a wet track for the first time since 3 preparations ago when he produced his best form. His only win to date came when Chris Parnham led all of the way aboard him and he now gets Chris back aboard in a race he can land on-speed in. GLOBAL TRIP has hit the line well at a price at his last 2 starts and the step to 1400m looks suitable. SO MUCH SERENITY creates her only luck on the pace but has drawn awkwardly with some speed to her inside. LADY KIKI an improver second-up and with a softer run. Numbers: 1-4-9-6 Suggested Bet – FRIARS LEGACY WIN RACE 8 LINCHPIN hit the line nicely to finish third to Raconteur Stakes-bound Ladies Pro in a Saturday 3YO Plate last start and looks beautifully placed back in grade here. This looks an even and open race but if he can get the right flow he can still prove hard to hold out late. POND MASTER has a tough draw to overcome but is a big class dropper from his past few campaigns and is a previous soft-6 track winner. OUR MATE ARCHIE will likely get a long way back but is suited to this level and goes well for Pike. MISS ESPRIT is another class dropper and will appreciate the wet conditions. Numbers: 6-1-2-7 Suggested Bet – LINCHPIN WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 13,14 1,2 1,4,9 1,2,6,7,14,15 Market Market
