Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 1, 2025December 1, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 Intriguing mobile trot event with a few of the fancies looking to bounce back. ARISTOTLE (8) was a winner a couple of runs back against a similar field and think he will get a good run from the draw and happy to play him at the each way price. ULTIMATE TESS (11) did things wrong in both her trial and WA debut and understand the horse has ability but hard to dive into the shorter price at this stage. GRUMPEE (12) has shown good promise in the east yet to produce that here in WA, could be an improver in this. TILTHESUNSETS (1) nicely drawn and should be close to the pace and can stick on. ALDEBARAN JENSEN (9) is second up and will be watching things unfold, should get home well with SELLUNE (10). Tips: 8 11 9 1 Suggested Bet: ARISTOTLE (8) each way. Race 2 ULTIMATE EVENT (7) was a brave run last time out in quick time, stuck the race out well and looks suited here today, confident she can do the work in this grade and be very hard to hold out. MISS VINCENZA (4) has been consistent and looks a major player in this; she has had a few opportunities though. ALFA JESS (3) looked to have every chance at Wagin, comes in with novelty claims here. ELVIRA JANE (6) has won two of her last four but has made a stable change and be interesting to see how she carries on. Tips: 7 4 3 6 Suggested Bet: ULTIMATE EVENT (7) to win. Race 3 KARAOKE STAR (4) is first up for Corey Peterson, and this horse is a strong performer at the shorter distance races, he can be used in this and expecting him to go very close as he has the early speed to potentially lead. WRITTENINTHESKY (1) has the nice draw, but form is just ok and has options from the pole with the early speed there. HES THUNDER (5) might find this a bit short; he has become very one paced and should park outside them and stick on. JAMIE KIM (9) will be running on, but it is hard to win off the back row in these lightning lap events. YOU FLY WITH ME (8) ideally drawn and STRAYLYA (6) is a novelty chance as he can do the work. Tips: 4 5 9 1 Suggested Bet: KARAOKE STAR (4) to win. Race 4 SKIP A BEAT (4) is a lightly raced type who has shown plenty of ability and now moves to the care of Cam Ross and looks to be very hard to beat on return. JACKIE DANIELS (2) hit the line strongly last time out and must be respected, she should be there when the whips are cracking. BEAT THE BANK (8) was a metro winner on Friday and is versatile, rarely runs a bad race. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (7) has a tough draw to overcome but looks a novelty chance first and same can be said for ALFA PRINCE (9) who is racing consistently. Tips: 4 2 8 9 Suggested Bet: SKIP A BEAT (4) to win Race 5 GEARSINAWHIRL (5) has good early speed and should zip across to the top, he has been racing more consistently in recent runs, and this looks a good race for him to break through. STIRUP IRON JACK (10) is an on-speed runner and will find it tricky again from the draw but won’t be far away. BEALAWYER (6) is consistent, but he is a hard horse to catch. GALVINSTON JOHN (7) has early speed but don’t think he can cross so his task becomes infinitely harder. Tips: 5 10 6 7 Suggested Bet: GEARSINAWHIRL (5) to win. Race 6 ECLIPSE LINE (10) didn’t have a great deal of luck last time out and performed well in a strong metro race, this grade looks suitable and expecting a strong performance today. LIQUIDATOR (7) has the speed to burn across, and lead and the distance suits her pattern, could lead and give some cheek in this. METEOROID (9) will be running on; he is consistent in this grade. VYBRANT (2) is capable but lacks that early speed so map could be tricky. MISS KNOWALL (8) is a novelty chance with DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (4). Tips: 10 7 9 8 Suggested Bet: ECLIPSE LINE (10) to win. Race 7 EN PARIANT SUR (1) was solid first up and should benefit off that run, has the speed to lead and looks to take some running down. MORE SASS (8) caught the eye in a quick last section, she powered through the line and appears to be on the improve and should go close in this if she carries the form from last run into this. ALWAYSBFRANK (9) is one that can be put into it and he is a rolling type, shouldn’t be far away. RELLIM (12) might need the run on return but has brilliant closing speed and looks a novelty chance first. BETTOR MOVE ALONG (6) and MALAKIE (9) are capable at their best but need to lift on recent efforts. Tips: 8 1 9 12 Suggested Bet: MORE SASS (8) each way. Race 8 BURGHLEY SHARD (7) looks better suited here and can be driven forward, looks a major player in this as he has the depth required to overcome the draw. MASTER REMI (1) is ready to win but is short enough, last few runs have been better. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (5) has good early speed and could cross and then has options, thought they may adopt the softer tactics with him at the middle distance. MACHANE SAID (6) won’t be too far away, but the draw is awkward. Novelty chances to BARBADOS (3) and TELL ITIN HEAVEN (2). Tips: 7 1 5 3 Suggested Bet: BURGHLEY SHARD (7) to win. Market Market
