Race 1

ROCKIN LE MONDE (9) hit the line well last start and looks set to get a good run throughout here, it is an open maiden event and looks to be a strong each way player. DEKLA DIVA (1) has had a few opportunities but gets the draw again to play a part. ITSOKTOBEGREY (5) has been racing quite well, he has a few tricks and with the awkward draw will just need a touch of luck to get the victory. MONEY BOSS (11) trialled up soundly, look to the market to see any Bettors Pride type support. SWITCH BLADE (12) is always a player and one for the novelties.

Race 2

DREAMBIGAIMHIGH (6) has been unlucky as of late and looks a major player here, he normally steps away well and has options, think he is hardest to beat. SELLUNE (7) is finding it hard to break through, this is an easier assignment than recent efforts. THE HONOURS (1) performs best at the short course stands, good place chance. MAJESTIC MARION (4) returns and is very capable in this grade but may need the run. YOUR KIDDING (3) is improving.

Suggested Bet: DREAMBIGAIMHIGH (6) to win.

Race 3

EL JAYDO (5) impressed with a recent trial performance and looks quite hard to beat here on debut, hit the line with more to offer and looks a likely type for trainer/driver Dylan Egerton-Green. AZIONE (4) trialled up well and has some top end speed, respect in this. BOUJEE BOY (7) couldn’t get a clear crack at them first up and a strong performance is expected but the draw hurts. BONPOPPY (1) has the draw to figure in the novelties with CRUNCH THE NUMBERS (3) who improved last time out with RAVENOUS ROMEO (6) who contends with a wide draw.

Tips: 5 4 7 1

Suggested Bet: EL JAYDO (5) to win.

Race 4

HY JAX (3) had zero luck last time out and hit the line powerfully, he is a nice strong type who is learning more about the racing caper, looks incredibly hard to beat in this lineup. EBEE AVIATOR (6) is now third up into the preparation and has upside in this, looks to be versatile and can play a part. BORTOLO (7) is learning the racing caper, it is a tricky draw to work with, but he has strength. INEEDA DRINK (1) and SUGAR BOO (2) could contest the early lead and are capable of filling novelties.

Suggested Bet: HY JAX (3) to win.

Race 5

Two of my punting nemesis’ are in this race. SPIRITOFANANGEL (4) who was a good effort last time out and looms as a strong winning chance again today and WATCH ME WAVE (5) who for some reason I cannot catch, this looks a suitable race again but I can’t bring myself to tip her on account of the flashbacks. They can both win this race without surprising. HAVING FUN (7) is a capable type on return who I would be quite confident about if she had a run under her belt, can win. RADIANT BAY (2) has place prospects from the good draw. EILEENMAY (3) has improved in her last few and looks a strong winning chance in this race. KRAFTY LOUISE (9) should be kept safe racing for the first time with underrated trainer Shane Steele. Go wide in the quaddie.

Suggested Bet: HAVING FUN (7) each way.

Race 6

QUINTON (2) should be winning but will not be a spectacular price. KINSAABI (1) has the good draw and can play a part into the novelties, just needs to begin safely as he has got a little skip in his action. BILLYJAMES (4) could bounce on them early and get into a good spot, he was good two starts ago and had his chance last time out, place chance. RESOLUTION (6) has good staying ability and should be respected in this, fitter for the first up effort. BANK NOTICE (8) needs a touch of luck from the draw but is a must for the novelties. MANGO TANGO (9) and WHITBYS WORLD (10) go into the novelty bracket as well.

Suggested Bet: BILLYJAMES (4) to place.

Race 7 

CALLMEWHATUWANT (5) is racing in top form, he stepped up to metro grade in a cracking standing start event last time out and performed with a gutsy second. Looks hard to beat with a safe getaway. DOURADO (6) is a talented type with a lot of top end speed, should run a big race here with a safe getaway. PAROQUET (7) just needs a safe getaway to play a serious part, she is racing really well. LADY VIOLETTA (4) and BLOCKJORG (8) are novelty players.

Tips: 5 6 7 8

Suggested Bet: CALLMEWHATUWANT (5) to win.

Race 8

XCEPTIONAL ARMA (6) could find this grade a touch easier to work with as she is coming out of racing the best fillies in the state, her last performance was encouraging that she is close to returning back to her best. TORPEDO ROCK (5) is a versatile and consistent performer who should be reaching his peak. CUT N RUN (2) has a lovely draw and looks to bounce on the bunny in the early stages, has options from there. AUCKLAND JET (3) caught the eye last start start and has further upside with fitness, he is a winning chance at odds.

Tips: 6 5 2 3

Suggested Bet: AUCKLAND JET (3) each way.

Race 9

BETTOR HAVE FAITH (5) is an improving type who is evolving before our eyes with each run, she comes in fresh here but looks hard to beat again. CABSAV (3) has the good draw and looks likely to bounce on the lead, she can be a bit of a funny horse in front mixing her form but her best is good enough. EVE CROCKER (4) is a consistent performer and looms as an each way chance again. SECRET REACTION (6) finds this a bit harder from the draw but is racing well. OUR LILILOU (9) looks more of a novelty player in this. DAME VALOUR (11) creates interest and has ability but might need this run.

Tips: 5 3 4 9

Suggested Bet: BETTOR HAVE FAITH (5) each way.

Race 10

SORRIDERE (7) has brilliant early speed and is racing at the top of his game, he looks hard to beat and if he does lead I expect him to win. THE WAND WAVER (1) is ideally drawn and represents a good place chance in this. MAJOR JAY (2) is going along okay and prefer him as a novelty player in this, he could get caught in the shuffle if he doesn’t cross early. REG LAWSON (5) is racing well, tricky draw to overcome. COLORADO BANNER (6) drops in grade but will need his fair share of luck from the draw. INSTA GATOR (10) looks the big threat to the fav as he can do work and should be reaching his peak. THE BEAUDSTER (9) is never far away and can do his fair share of work.

Tips: 7 10 9 1

Suggested Bet: SORRIDERE (7) to win.
