Race 5 No. 6 Dozen Staples

Real good effort last week and a repeat goes close here in this company. Doesn’t win many but drops over to the fence and makes a sustained run home over this trip. Each way go with an ounce of luck. 

Race 7 No. 6 Jumpin’ Jules and No. 4 Whiskey On Rocks

Start all so critical here for several runners. Spec the 6 that she nails it at box rise and beats the fav across early. She will be very hard to catch if she gets near the arm. Will be a big price and therefore earns a play each way. The 4 probably the only dog who is comfortable off the arm and running on. Drops to the fence and works home strongly. Clear run, frame finish. 

Race 8 No. 8 Sunset Commanche

Boxes to give these the business. Skates down to the first turn with gusto when drawn out wide and even if he’s not on the arm by then, he just keeps coming. Runs good time and will get every possible hope here. 

Race 10 No. 4 Raining Cash and No. 5 Pumping Gas

The dog in 4 is the best place smokie of the night. Came from a long way off them last week to finish on the place getters heels and she can win this or place at the very least with a similar effort. Place heavy all day. The 5 is one of the last and few dogs from the litter I’m willing to give a chance to. They simply aren’t handling the harder racing at this circuit and distance on a regular basis. This bloke has some ability though and could run into this late if he’s close enough. Backing the 4 on a big place heavy basis here however. Anything over $2.40 is a go.

THE MEADOWS

Race 5 No. 7 Irish Millie

She’s strong and the small field puts her in this right away. Can sprint as well as get the middle trip and handles wide boxes as well. Just needs to stay handy into the back and she’s a threat. 

Race 6 No. 1 Warringah Bale

He doesn’t quite get a strong 700 but this trip from this box is a different story. Has speed here and could hold up and will prove very hard to get past if he doesn’t hold the arm. Can come from just off as well. Great top two chance.
