Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Tips

CANNINGTON

Race 5 No. 4 Aston Casino

Stepped quickly last week when producing another good effort to place and looks suited here. A similar start should see him track the 3 over and he can be strong home here to again hit the podium. Big threat with early luck.

Race 6 No. 2 Dozen Staples

Put in a super run last time when having to work along the fence up the back and hold her line under dogs to go out after the leader. Just ran out of ground late but a clear indicator she is racing well now. Similar draw and map will see her threaten in the run home.

Race 7 No. 1 Rowdy Bourbski and No. 4 Big If

This is his chance the 1. Racing superbly and without luck and the box gives him every chance here. Just needs a clean step at box rise and he will muster up into a striking position and go on from there. The 4 is way over the odds here and don’t be surprised if he leads these. Great run last time when collected at box rise. Recovered and stuck on well. Can stun these.

Race 10 No. 8 Riot On Rum and No. 3 Quid Brother

The 8 really only has to get over here. She is the best dog in the race and can handle wide boxes off this start and put herself into it quickly. If she finds the arm it’s over. The 3 is a smokies hope here. Limited but this isn’t deep and while he likes the middle of the track, he could get there without trouble here. Don’t ignore him.

Race 11 No. 8 Bad Influence

Still got a bit of an opinion on this dog but do need to see something here in this small field. Made ground behind Halcyon Days last week and can land closer here. Needs to find something on the clock and this is her chance to do that. Top 2 show.

Race 12 No. 7 Bounce Li

Continues to get better and better and can handle the draw. If she spears over here and takes up the arm, they won’t be catching her. Goes quick up the back and sustains a very strong run home. Clear run and she’s the one to beat.
