Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 11, 2024January 11, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 2 No. 5 Stylish In Black and No. 7 Simply Out There If the 5 offsets the box early then he will quickly become a force to stop. Racing better dogs over the 400m and just needs a look here. There are worse roughies than the 7. Can swoop late and box is good here. Place heavy show for a spec. Race 3 No. 7 Aussie Singman and No. 3 Dozen Staples The 7 is going ok. He just doesn’t get the last bit of the 488m lately. This shorter trip will be much more suitable and he can figure here. The 3 will do her usual and work into it gradually and any clear air and being close makes her some chance late. Race 7 No. 8 Joe The Lion He might need early luck but there some fence carvers here and he could get a swoop around. If he’s chiming in turning then he is very hard to hold out. Race 8 No. 8 Tarzan and No. 5 Litchfield The 8 just needs to step. He goes very fast off the mat and can carve over here and put these to the sword. Big show. The 5 gets back but she will charge late. She is going ok and might need some trouble in front over this trip but can hit the frame. Race 9 No. 2 Ash The Flash and No. 6 Notorious Harada The 2 was superb last week last time here. Fired out and gave nothing else a chance over the 400m. No reason she can’t repeat off a better draw with a spear out. Can even come from off them. The 6 just wins if she leads here. Been racing the better class off 400m dogs and is better than these. Clear run and she probably just wins. Race 10 No. 1 Maximum Carnage Resuming but rest assured, he is ready. Trialled absolutely electric here last week and the week prior with his sectionals superb and has his box to replicate those trials. Should he do that, these are in trouble. All comes down to the start. He must nail it. If he does, he has a ripping first sectional in him and there will need to be some serious PBs from the others to get him. Race 12 No. 4 Zipping Lopez and No. 7 Burner Flash The 4 is right down in the easiest company now. If he can barge his way through early to a spot he will be very hard to stop late. The 7 is sparingly raced but is capable. Always puts in and can figure here with his recent runs good for this. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 1 Kadence Bale and No. 7 Rixi Bale The 1 has her box and she’s close to a win. Takes a little to get into gear but hits the line hard and rails well. Each way for her. The 7 will also find the line well in a race that doesn’t have anything running time up front. Just needs a little luck up the back. Race 5 No. 6 Pickled Piper and No. 3 Gucci Girl The 6 can win this and she would need to. Has raced tougher races recently and is capable when switched on. The 3 will lead and she might be hard to get past. If she runs this trip she will give a great sight. Has a tremendous strike rate. Distance only concern. Race 7 No. 3 Mrs Avenger and No. 4 Shima Stella The 3 is a star stayer on the rise. Gave them a drubbing last week but she doesn’t always spear early. Can reel off big sections and is hard to stop here. The 4 will look for the arm and she’s hard to run down when she gets it. Goes well here and looks suited. Race 10 No. 2 Andre Bale and No. 1 Royal Gypsy The 2 gets a superb map here. Just needs to punch up early and track the front runners and he can reel off a winning last section. The 1 will go very quick off the mat and should lead. She is racing much better now and is stronger so she is hard to catch. Will give a sight. Race 11 No. 6 Winnington Bale and No. 2 Flying Redeemer He needs luck up the back but if the gaps come, the 6 can win this. At the least he will be an each way prospect and is racing better than his form shows. The 2 is getting relief in company here and he also runs into his races well. Good draw and goes well here. Look for him to charge into the frame late. Race 12 No. 3 Aston Kalkara Another dog who will appreciate no speedster running time in this. Slow early but great map and can land closer here. Hits the line hard and will just need luck at the top and turning. Each way go here. Market Market
