Musters up out wide against these and only has to stay within range to look the winner at some stage. Super run last time. Wins with any luck and can hit the podium. Fav the danger but he can go well. Race 7 No. 2 Prime Of Life Tragedy beaten last start. Was smoking his pipe behind the leaders and sweating on a run that simply didn’t appear. He was travelling that well that he ran into them and was speared back to last. Boxed well here and will get his chance. Race 9 No. 8 Max Flash Good draw for this seasoned campaigner and gets a good cart over here with the speedy 7 inside him. Great record off the box and only needs a clean step to figure. Race 11 No. 3 Ultimate Command He’s a smokie’s hope this bloke as he seems to do his best work here these days. Has pace and sticks on well and can settle in a forward spot here to hit the frame on the EW price. GAWLER Race 6 No. 3 Basso’s Choice He’s been very good his last few and went within a lip of getting the cash last week after ripping ground off the winner. Better draw and map this week and he’s a place heavy go again. Race 7 No. 6 Winkler Developing a good record here and looks set to produce another forward effort. Draw a little sticky but vacant inside helps and he will threaten if he steps and gets a clean look into the back. Race 8 No. 7 Strategise Needs to begin but will go very close if he does. Races well here and if he punches up out wide early he will run over these late. Good run last time and is ready at the EW quote. Race 10 No. 2 Calix Bale Stepped well last week but got squeezed out of it when going forward. No hope after that. Drawn to again land right there and just needs a trouble free run with momentum to hit the frame. Race 11 No. 1 My Mum’s Value Boxed to get his chance. Speedy affair this but he can use the draw to hold his spot and if he can wrangle the lead early he will be very hard to catch. Start critical. Race 12 No. 2 Colonel Trigger Was tested over 500 his last few and that’s not his go these days. Freshened and goes well here and has a great record off the box.
