Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 2, 2024March 7, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 2 Wise Abalone Scored well last time and jumped better. A repeat see him go close again and he has ability and upside. Race 2 No. 1 Sunset Louie and No. 2 Flying Freda The 1 is boxed to go close here. Excels off the inside. The 2 will lead off her best step and be hard to catch. Race 3 No. 8 Sunset Frazier and No. 5 Coulter Bale The 8 is a very promising young dog with dazzling early and middle sectionals. Hard to catch. The 5 is first up in the state but has raced good dogs back east and storms home. Race 4 No. 6 Andre Bale Forget last week. Axed at the start and never got into it. He’s a lot better than that and only needs clear run to figure. Race 5 No. 4 Vander Harley and No. 1 Fabs Max Potato The 4 will get to the fence early and that’s the winning move if she gets there quickly. The 1 the best roughie in the race and just needs to hold his spot early. Strong home. Race 6 No. 4 Pudding Monelli and No. 3 Sunset Mirage The 4 might go on with it now he’s back to winning form here. Tracks up here and hard to hold late. The 3 went better than it looked last week and if he steps he is a force. Race 7 No. 4 Savic and No. 5 Zinzan Chopper The 4 will find more after last weeks win and he can stay. Hard to beat. The 5 is the obvious danger and would have gone on top had he seen the circuit first or started here. Best dog coming out of strong Vic races but here for the Galaxy I’m sure. Race 11 No. 1 Cawbourne Roses Top two bird here with any luck. Wide runner outside and she rails hard and strong late. Excels over this track and trip. Race 12 No. 2 Timon Lane Good effort first up over this trip last week. Natural improvement sees him hard to beat again. Top two prospect. THE MEADOWS Race 1 No. 7 Cabao Kyanite and No. 6 Video Referee The 7 is a huge show here. Desperate for a wide box and getting better each time. Very hard to hold out with any clear room. The 6 a good roughie and can figure. Works home well and will threaten if close. Race 3 No. 4 Ernie The Brute and No. 6 Coppola Bale Final here. The 4 was super in his heat and will find the fence and grind home hard. Can go close. The 6 gets back but this could get messy and he will pass many of these late. EW for him too. Race 4 No. 1 Dotty’s Gift Been racing far harder class and boxed to surprise here. Freshened and will give a sight if she holds her spot early. Race 9 No. 1 Kai Bale and No. 7 Bun Storm The 1 is boxed to win here. He’s a class customer and will charge though these and might even hold up early. The 7 is promising and can figure if the box doesn’t pose an issue. Good race. Race 12 No. 6 Underway Sneaky chance here to do something. Has ability and can show a good middle section he sustains home. If he’s close he will give these a bit to worry about late. WENTWORTH PARK Race 7 No. 2 Has Ability Best dog in this. Top liner who can show speed and is strong as well. Looks the one off a clean step. Race 9 No. 8 Emgrand Centre Keeps hitting that frame. Will do so again here when he gets into his work and shouldn’t miss the EW play. Race 10 No. 7 Leg Press Former WA dog who might give these a shock if she steps. Coming off a tumble, she will try and dart up and can stick on here at odds. Small EW spec. Market Market
