Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 25, 2023November 25, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 1 Storm Alert Boxed to go close this time. Has put in some huge efforts in recent runs dropping his big middle and last section but finding one better. Gets the map and his chance this time. Each way go here at the very least. Race 2 No. 5 Seriously Lush and No. 1 Harley Monelli The 5 will go fast again and should find the top. After that it’s a matter of getting away through her flat spot and lifting late. She’s ready to win. The 1 is going better than it looks. Drawn to land closer this time, she works home well and could find herself challenging here at the top. She’s a threat. Race 6 No. 1 Fabs Max Potato and No. 4 Ballistic Ant The 1 bounced back to the winners list over the sprint last week. Gets his chance to find the top again here and will give these a lot to catch. The 4 drops back from the staying journey but she has good box manners and early toe. A little one paced but will keep coming here. Can figure. Race 11 No. 5 All About Rock Been crying out for this trip. Moderate beginner who takes a while to get into his work but strong once he gets wound up. Only has to handle the corner start and land close to be a huge threat here. Race 12 No. 1 Stanga Storm The 1 gets one more go off a good draw. Found all sorts of bother last week and never a factor. Great record off this box and can atone. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 1 Emgrand Centre One more go off the box. Can be a bit clumsy but has a big motor and will only have to hold his fence spot here to be running into this up the back. Each way go but can win. Race 7 No. 8 Street Of Dreams Another who can be hard to stop when he gets wound up. Box ok and wil get a nice run to the first turn with a slow beginner inside him. Winds up strongly and top two show here. Race 9 No. Try Catch Up Has a lethal box 1 record. Simply a different dog. 6 starts off the red for 5 wins and a placing. Has raced much tougher company and will use the draw to get over these with any luck at all. Big show. SANDOWN PARK Tonight is Melbourne cup heat night. One of the great nights in greyhound racing. We also have 4 heats of the Bold Trease for the stayers. We give our top 3 in order in every race.
