When he’s on, he comes out and will go fast here to lead which would be all over. Placed both goes this short trip and fresh after being scr last time. Can step and win but needs to. Race 2 No. 2 Early Worm The field was steady, there was a little trouble first turn, but her run last week was absurd. Missed it by 8 and railed up then charged through to only go down a the short margin. Her box manners are awful but a repeat run hits the frame at a big quote again. Race 3 No. 8 Bad Influence and No. 3 Pea Pettigrew The 8 is still a mystery. Looks to have a bit of talent and we almost got to see it last time until she was turned inside out by another dog. Will be a huge quote and don’t dismiss her. The 3 was good its last couple and gets in well here. Has some pace and gets his low 30s out. Will give a sight here. Race 4 No. 4 Escape Plan Coming off an indiscretion at Northam but he’s better than that. Trialled ok for his return here and has ability when he’s switched on. Can step and will give these a bit to worry about if he offsets the box early. Race 5 No. 7 Ultimate Command and No. 3 Daph’s Yak Our man in 7 all but led last week when he stepped off a touch and into the dog outside him. Lost all momentum and position. Better boxed this time and can surprise at odds. He’s racing better than it looks. The 3 will nail the start one day soon and it could be here. That would also see this over as he is all but impossible to catch in this grade. Both good shows. Race 6 No. 2 Sand Patch and No. 3 Delphini Keen to take on gas burner in Box 1. The 2 finally showed her best last time and is boxed to again go on with it. Will improve again and hard to stop. The 3 gets in well here against these dogs and is placed to give a sight. Been racing harder grade and can figure to hit the frame here. Don’t ignore him at all. Race 7 No. 2 Sozin’s Azzuri and No. 4 Launch Control Love the draw for the 2 here. Can spear and lead and won’t be easy catch after that. Crasher inside and wide out. Gets every hope to hold the arm. The 4 was stiff last week. Held up badly when making his run and it will work out much the same here. Over to the fence and a run up the back to be strong home. EW go for him. Race 8 No. 4 Clifton Iyla The best smokie of the night. Form says “don’t call us, we will call you” but she is not hopeless and this is a race she could get into. Can finish off strongly and if she can land handy this time, will give these a shock. Place heavy play for her. Race 9 No. 3 Wild Ollie and No. 8 Armatree Arrow We have a few going for the arm here. The 3 has been racing over the 500 and steps back to the short trip here and can ping. If he held the front he would take a lot of catching. The 8 gets a great cart over here and has been racing well off tough draws. He could get the sweep around here and won’t be run down if he finds the top. Race 10 No. 2 Forward Scout Silly price. Keen here. Has had no luck in harder 500s here lately and the step back to 380 is a positive one even if it he would like it a bit longer. Can punch up here and hold a spot and if he does, he then becomes hard to stop late. EW go at a great quote. Race 11 No. 2 Indy Go Ruby and No. 4 Big Kahuna The 2 opened a silly price here will appreciate the step back to 380. Ran some creditable races over the longer journey but struggled to see it out. Can bounce back this time. The 4 will again spear and look for the arm. Stuck on well last week considering the winner was handy and run time and he will take a lot of catching if he leads here. Race 12 No. 6 Luke’s Coal He only has to come out half decent here in this small field to win. Went 15.77 a few starts ago and a repeat wins easily. Start important but hard to roll in the last at the short quote. Market Market
