Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 18, 2024January 19, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 1 Sunset Bubbles Boxed to lead and therefore boxed to win. Very sharp early and she runs good time. Suited to the trip and enjoys the track. The one to beat. Race 2 No. 3 Getaway Sticks The 3 will get a spec as well. Sits on the fence here and rails home well and has run good races around here before. One at odds. Race 3 No. 1 Speed Freak The 1 had no luck here last time when she met the inevitable road blocks. A shame considering those dogs took away the chances of dogs who can stay and this girl met the most trouble from that. She gets her chance now. Race 4 No. 2 West On Odie and No. 8 Halcyon Days The 2 is resuming from a spell. By far and away the best dog here and he’s seen the circuit in a trial and gone well but might still be in need of the run. Hes well drawn here and could track the red up and be hard to hold out. The 8 might surprise if he steps and musters. Can finish his race off well over this trip and will be looking to chime in late. Race 6 No. 1 Disco Daisy and No. 4 Start Up Ando The 1 is boxed to win. Huge run last week when held wide for the whole trip and kept coming late. Has a lethal record off box 1 and will be a very different dog this week. Keep the 4 safe for Ew players. Going super around here and will be launching late. Can hit the frame at least or win if the red makes an error. Race 7 No. 6 Jelly Monelli Slow early and has flat spot over this trip up the back but she gets going late and nothing will hold her out of the frame in this. Will go close if she gets there early but she can place at least with a repeat of her last start effort. EW bird with any luck at all. Race 8 No. 7 Waffles Monelli and No. 6 West On Miley The 7 gets a big drop in company here. Been racing the weapons over this trip and track and going ok. He gets a lovely cart over here off the speedy 6 and he’s a major threat at a good price. EW go at least. The 6 will spear out again and if she goes to the arm she’s hard to catch. Racing well and the one to beat again. Race 9 No. 3 Calico Joe Out of his skin last week is the best way to describe his run. Almost ran down the odds of fav and was charging home late. Goes better than people think and well drawn again to deliver another scare to this field. He’s ready and can win. An EW prospect at the very least. Race 11 No. 4 Go Seek Katoni and No. 6 Stevie Monelli The 4 was super in the Birthday Cup final. Ripped home again and ran the race of his life over an unsuitable trip. Will try and lead here and very hard to stop if he does and can win even if he’s close. The 6 gets a save but a cautious one. Was never running 652m last week and was spent on the line so depending on how she’s bounced back from will determine her chances. She will threaten if shes right and will be strong late over these.
