Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 27, 2022April 27, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 2 Got The Sugar and No. 4 Magic Salute The 2 has had a lot of unfair criticism lately but the she is still the best dog in the race and while her last start was not entirely her own fault, there has to be a time where the line is drawn. Her best waltzes past this field. One out she would decimate any of these but it’s not one out and she has to use her box to accelerate to a forward position. If she is within striking range, they won’t hold her out. From a betting standpoint point, this is D-day. The 4 will run another honest race once he finds the fence and is worth a save at big odds EW. Race 6 No. 5 My Boy Bailey He can lead here. All but crossed in a heat of the Mandurah derby on Friday and has experience at this track. Good box manners as a rule, he can find the arm here and it would take some effort for anything to run him down. Race 8 No. 5 Rapido Storm and No. 6 Dandalup Phoenix The 5 is also coming off of a string of Mandurah runs but he has performed well here previously. Vacant box inside gives him the room he needs to muster up. Hard to catch if he crosses. The 6 is racing well for the airborne May Leach kennel. May has her team flying at the moment and this bloke leads the way with his recent city form. Accelerates quickly and can set these a merry dance early and be hard to run down on the arm solo. Race 9 No. 1 Mongolian Wolf Waited an eternity to drop on the leader last start to just nab him on the line. Moves to box 1 here and he can repeat the effort to score again here. Just needs to hold his spot early on the fence as he can sometimes be tardy away but these won’t have his run home if he gets the clear run and will look ominous late. Race 10 No. 5 Ready For Magic Well this is it. 6 dog field, winnable race, no excuses. For a dog who trials 21.58, there will be nowhere left to turn if he doesn’t produce tonight. The corner starts are not sitting well with him lately but he is clearly the fastest dog in this race. Should he get beaten tonight, he surely can’t persist over this 380m much longer. This will be his chance to finally get it done otherwise it will be no more until he shows us more. THE MEADOWS Race 11 No. 8 Gotham Baroness Steps up to the 600m and it should work in her favour as she is a dog who needs to be close to the arm to do her best. No issues with the trip judging by some of her run homes over the 525m and she should step and swoop into a forward spot early off the box. Top 2 player. WENTWORTH PARK Race 6 No. 7 Dylan’s Magic Better known as a stayer but his recent efforts over this trip are not that bad. Drops to Masters company here and if he gets within range up the back, this field will know he’s about descend. EW show at the big odds and more place heavy. Race 7 No. 2 Keenando Another who will enjoy Masters company here. Still racing well considering the fields he has faced recently and boxed to drive up early here. Has a flat spot through the middle but gets going late again. Hard to beat with a clear run. Race 8 No. 4 Lots of Chatter and No. 6 Devel Sixteen Really looks a 2 dog race. The 4 has superior acceleration and should be on the arm quickly. He will be extremely hard to catch if he gets an uncontested lead. The 6 however is a class animal and has raced the very best at this track. If she gets right behind him it’s game on. She is the only one who can finish over the top of him. They look to have it between them. BALLARAT Race 5 No. 4 Vardan Bale and No. 8 Octavia Bale The 4 had a crack at the longer trip but is much better suited here and will look to wind up into the back and sustain a strong run home. Raced tougher company and great EW show. The 8 can spear around here and should enjoy being back to Ballarat as she has done a lot of her racing in town lately. Can stick on strongly when she’s close and will look ominous if she steps. Both good value chances. Race 6 No. 7 Aston Malle Big hope here. Had no luck early in a far harder race here last time and can improve this time around. Begins well and very hard to catch when she leads solo. Great EW price and one of the better plays of the night if she crosses early as expected. Market Market
